"Happened to come across this wonderful little restaurant on my way out of town. They have the BEST basmati rice. It 's perfectly cooked. Great options for vegans, vegetarian, and meat eaters alike (vegans beware of some items on the vegan menu . If you are looking for a little more spice, you can ask for some sauce on the side (coriander or pickled peppers; both are yummy . I had the mixed vegetable dish and thought it was really well cooked. The different veggies were cooked evenly (as in they had the same texture/softness . Best for last; the mango puree with ice cream was amazing. Definitely try it (or at least the mango puree if you don 't do dairy... I think the puree is dairy-free . I came early in the day so it wasn 't too busy and had good service, but I can see how response may change as more people show so keep that in mind. If you are on a time constraint, you 'd probably wanna order take-out. Overall, great service and taste. I would definitely visit this place again."

I accidentally bumped into the restaurant when I walked along the isar. I've never tried Indian food in Germany, but I have to say that the dishes are incredible! Especially the "chicken tikka" I can recommend at most. the meat is so soft and comes with fresh vegetables, rice and a delicious and spicy sauce. will come here more often! View menu

I have only eaten chicken tikka at the worse. Maybe it was because I ordered that to eat and wasn't eating in the restaurant. can also be that you think in Germany you don't have to supply well seasoned Indian foods. seasoned misdisplay and the chicken meat quite strange not to mention the lasan Nan.The whole food had little to do with good Indian cuisine,

even if the advertising and signs are more like a sun studio – this Indian restaurant is worth a visit. the operating family is very friendly and also happy to assist in the selection. we eat a lot and like Indian and were very surprised. the chicken tandoori was very tasty – the soße was really homemade. also the vegetarian dishes (we had chopped aubergine) were very convincing and delicious. will be happy again! sometimes you shouldn't be held by strange signages. this restaurant has earned more visitors!

I found this restaurant by chance and was amazed at the fantastic facility, the excellent service and the extensive vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu! Of course, they also offer all typical meat dishes, but without msg and flavor enhancers. I am allergic to many things and usually get tingling lips when I enter a place that offers cheap food or preserve. not here! everything was homemade and delicious! I'll be back as often as I can. Moreover, the restaurant would be a great place to organize bigger parties! ! View menu

I was heading to another restaurant when I came across this hidden jewel. I really enjoy Indian food so I decided to give this place a try. At first I was a bit unsure because the place was not really full of people, even though the place looks awesome inside, with a really nice Indian decoration. But seeing another review from a local I understand that the location of this place might not be the best. The food was delicious, I think I can safely say that it was the best Paneer I tried. It seems to be really fresh and well prepared. The service was also great. I totally recommend for anyone around Munich who enjoys authentic Indian food.

in Indian restaurants I was often disappointed, as many do not make a large part of eating themselves. after a few tastes, I then gotten landed thanks to sun city. it's from eating the best so far I've been in a little bit.I often go with my Indian girlfriend to eat to enjoy the North Indian food. it is noticeable that the chutneys are made themselves, which is not the case with most Indian restaurants in Munich. accordingly delicious these are. The Nan-Brote are also exceptionally delicious! it is also possible to ask for the sharpness of the food. all this is not a problem. the atmosphere here is very friendly. from me a very clear recommendation!

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
