Sun Ya - Menu

Looked up the menu on line and walked to the restaurant to find it only serves take away. The website did NOT say this which did not help since we walked for 20 mins one way!!! Needs to update the website so they don't waste peoples time!!

We have been visiting here for years. The all you can eat menu is great value for money and always delicious. The sizzling steak is always a favourite. Staff are super, always attentive and couldn't do more to help. Absolutely this is a gem.

Definitely wont use again they dont take card unless you spend over £10.00 i was told then when we got home with the food and we live less than two minutes walk away it was cold and really really greasy wouldn’t recommend and overpriced for the quality. View menu

The restaurant has deteriorated significantly since new owners took over. When I asked them when the change occurred, they blatantly lied and said it hadn't. However, it was clear that there was all new staff and the food was terrible. I would recommend avoiding this place.

The food in this restaurant has always been of a superior quality and the service is exceptional. They have been part of the the local community for a long time and have provided consistent service. We just ate a wonderful takeaway. We are very happy they are still serving us with great food with a smile.

This Chinese restaurant used to be very good, and we have been regular customers since 2009/2010. However, since it changed ownership, the quality of the food has significantly declined. The dishes now lack flavor and are very bland. We tried giving feedback, but received no response. As a result, we now get our Chinese food from a different restaurant. View menu

My family and I have been eating at this restaurant for around ten years and the food standard is always high. The food is the best value for money I have seen for a while and the staff are always attentive with crackers and fortune cookies. Even when having a takeaway, their service and standard never drops. They have such a range of food on offer and I will never order Chinese food anywhere else!

Sun Ya has fully reopened after the lockdown period, during which only take-away service was available. The restaurant is now under the management of a younger generation, and the food and customer service have greatly improved. The pricing for food and wine is very reasonable, making it a great choice for both intimate dinners and large family gatherings. We are fortunate to have Sun Ya as our local restaurant.

Planned to eat elsewhere, but restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Found Sun Ya on line (we were looking for Chinese buffet , and turned up (5 adults and 5 children to find a very warm welcome and readily fitted us in. Had buffet (all cooked fresh , and after starters and duck and pancakes, had difficulty getting through ordered mains. Not the best Chinese food we've ever eaten, but certainly acceptable, and staff were happy to provide other things (like chips for the kids .
