very cozy and small. the coffee can also be taken soy or milk. also various vegan cakes are available and very delicious.

Cute cafe offers large selection of sweets, three of which — apple strudel, chocolate cherry loaf, and streusel topped cake — were vegan on the day of my visit. Also available are numerous hot beverages, all of which can be made with soy milk.

I had a nice not outstandingly nice, but much better than average filter coffee here and a vegan cake chocolate cake with cherries . The cake was good but I had better vegan cakes before. I would come again when I am in the area, it is just a short walk form Messe Essen.

the coffee quality is great, I really love the coffee here. I get black coffee, but they've made milk. they also have a beautiful indoor seating place and about 5 6 different vegan baked goods every day, with new rotating options. this coffee shop and braterei also provide barista courses information on their website . updated by previous review on 2022 10 05 View menu

I was very disappointed to learn that the café no longer serves its delicious vegan breakfast. Instead, they offered me a vegan bagel with vegetables. The bagel was good, as was the latte macchiato with soy milk, but I hope they rethink their decision as their are not too many cafés offering vegan breakfasts. The vegan cakes, however, are always a real treat.

Been there three times: Two times spring 2014 and the last time Jan 2015. Really nice and friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere, nice outdoor seeting with a lot of sunlight. They serve the soy latte with the words biscuit is vegan : Even so, I didn't ask for it... The one time I ate the cake it was a simple chocolate cake which was a little dry but that was nearly a year ago...so... . The vegan breakfast is really delicious. It comes with toast, margarine, scrambled veggs with different herbs , baked beans, vegan spread, soy gurt with fruit salad and some vegetables as kind of a side salad and a soy cappuccino.
