"I ordered a chicken tandoori salad, lamb dasak (sweet and sour dish with lentils) and naan bread. The salad arrived without dressing, instead it arrived with a gravy boat containing the chicken and peppers swimming in a hot (temperature) sauce. The idea is that you...pour this on the salad, creating a disgusting mess which I could not eat. A salad is supposed to be chilled, with perhaps warm pieces of chicken, this was something else.. it was like a soup. When the dansak arrived I immediately noticed that there were no lentils, it was just stewed lamb in a tomato sauce. Are all the lamb curries the same?? Finally the naan bread was as thin as paper, and crispy having been soaked in butter ghee. I've had great curries in Berlin, Frankfurt and Freiburg so I refuse to accept that local Germans like this really bad, touristy food."

I liked this place a lot. The wait staff were wonderful and the food was great, what more can you ask for? I had the chana masala and lamb curry, both were excellent.

Taj Palace is one of the most visited and good restaurants in Kalrsruhe. It offers a better meal quality than other indian restaurants in more populated streets. It is recommended for dinner.

Nice restaurant. However, when I asked for a Jalfresi the waiter said it was virtually the same as a bhuna. The bhuna was very good but the Jalfresi was totally bland. Not what I was expecting.

The service was very good. But the taste of the food was not at all good. Everything tastes bad. The mango lassi was horrible. The food was a little pricy too. We won't go back there again for sure.

I was in few indian restaurants with my Colleagues and I must admit that they have the best original Indian food. This was my third time here and the food Was delicious and all the waitress were very friendly. A very Good atmosphere all together.

I have been here couple of times, and ordered something different every single time. Loved the food every single time. It was delicious. Service was at a reasonable pace. Food might be a bit pricey too, but worth it. The waiter, Saeed, is a great...guy!

I have to say that I don't appreciate Indian food so well. It's almost always good to me. taj palace has much more possibilities than other restaurants and therefore I give it a higher score. do not be fooled by the façade, it can be confused with a fast food restaurant, but not at all!

There are lots of good restaurants in Karlsruhe, but you want Indian food, the choices are limited. Taj Palace is a great choice in Karlsruhe though. I have been to this restaurant on various trips. The latest visit didn't disappoint either. The food was cooked...well with excellent flavor and taste. Garlic naan was great also.
