"Without a booking, the restaurant was able to offer us a walk-in table on a Saturday night. That was impressive. We had been told about The Tannin Level by friends who praised it highly. We were not disappointed. Our starters (scallops for me and black pudding for she) were delicious. For mains, I had slow cooked lamb which was superb and Pat raved about her Trio of Pork (oddly named, because it was actually a Duo). Accompanied by very nice Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the “by the glass” selection. No room left for desserts so we just finished with coffee. We will be back."

This is the 2nd visit we've made here and once again we weren't disappointed. Fantastic produce cooked brilliantly. Lovely relaxed vibe, friendly staff, what a gem this place is. Great value for the quality of food that is being served too. Will be back for sure!

food good, bark medaillen not big, very abrupt senior manager does not accept crtisism and will point to n. grad argue instead of seeing comments as constructiv. beef is mentioned as something to avoid other reviews, he should consider and sort instead of ruin what should be a special night in harrogate View menu

The verdict, a nice cozy restaurant (though it's quite large, there are several alcoves and arches that give a sense of privacy,) good service and excellent food and wine. Scoring 4.5 out of 5 on the LardButty Index, it's definitely a hit. The Tannin Level menu caters to all taste and nutritional needs. There is a good range of dishes, with many seafood and vegetarian options.

"all those people who leave 1 star (or low star reviews) have either extremely high expectations or just have to be out to harm the call of a gem of a sandwich shop. I stopped yesterday, was late for lunch to my surprise and joy that they were still open, was a waiting queue to eat, so I might have been happy that they thought they would do 1 more order. I had the cheese-cutney sandwich couldn't resist the Scotch egg with black pudding. the Scotch egg was phenomenal, black pudding mixed with the sausage meat, a soft egg yolk practically still runny, which I really did not expect to add only to the already large aromene, the egg comes with a small pot homemade brown sauce (ketchup is an option, but I prefer brown soße) also the soße is a normal but it is a manifestation, it is a the sandwich was ineffective, thick-cut cheese on a homemade roll with homemade chutney (I suppose when everything else was made home) filled with fresh salad, I am curious what the difference between this is the ploughman’s, as it was in the round a ploughmans sandwich. the brot, cheese salad were all fresh taste amazing, the chutney transformed it, was like a cross between chutney salsa like the brown sauce was more sweet without much flavor, but really a great amount taste to what was possibly the best sandwich I had ever had! well made youngs, eating is great a try worth. reasonably also consider that it is the center of harrogate."
