"A disappointing and we felt overpriced meal for what we had I'm afraid . While the whitebait starter was tasty, the two main courses of salmon and prawn pie and chicken stroganoff tasted like they were bought in bulk and reheated. The chicken in the stroganoff hadn't taken on any of the flavour of the sauce and the salmon in the fish pie was in tiny pieces rather than chunks which felt like they had taken the cheapest option. I'm sorry to have to give this review as in the guest book of where we are staying several people mentioned the great food at the Tanronnen, so maybe we hit them on an off day. However with pub food like they serve at the Prince Llewellyn and the Saracen's Head nearby we feel they do need to up their game...."

Overpriced food, frozen chips and vegetables! Good pub to enjoy a drink, just find somewhere else to eat.

The food wasn’t amazing and I would say overpriced for “ok” food. Nice enough after you’ve climbed Snowdon. Short drive from the Snowdon Ranger path. Service: 4 Location: 4 View menu

Wanted to just have a drink in the village pub, which was half empty, but were told we couldn't unless we ordered food. Are these people really that foolish to turn down business.....

Friendly pub setting in a picturesque village, staff were quick with service and welcoming. Food was only service times were limited (written on chalkboard by entrance) Food was good, especially the broccoli and Stilton soup.

While the food was delightful and two of the ladies working there were a pleasure to interact with, I cannot say the same for one woman behind the bar. Her customer service was among the worst I’ve ever encountered; she was incredibly rude and made us feel like an inconvenience for choosing to spend our money at the pub. This unfortunate experience really overshadowed our evening. View menu

Arrived to have a pint. Was greeted with a huge blackboard blocking the entrance declaring 'no drinks. we are only seating restaurant diners. Diners only at the bar ' or something similar. Despite looking through the window and seeing 4 guys sat at the bar drinking and 2 tables in the window with drinks only. So lame! You 're a pub. Serve everyone. Don 't be so petty and have one rule for some and another rule for locals.

My mother and I visited this lovely establishment and had a delightful meal featuring pork loin in cider sauce, accompanied by potatoes and vegetables. It was the best meal I've ever had! Thank you so much for the experience. I highly recommend this beautiful pub for dining. **Walkability:** Conveniently located down the road from our accommodations. **Food and Drinks:** Delicious! **Location Rating:** 5/5 **Hotel Highlights:** Great views, quiet atmosphere.
