"We were drawn to Caffi Colwyn by their boards on the street clearly promoting vegan specials. It is located in a beautiful spot next to the river and National Trust shop in Beddgelert. Bonus points that our dogs were welcomed in the outdoor seating area, where a doggy water bowl and treat station' were on offer for four-legged visitors! There were three clearly labelled and promoted vegan main dishes on the specials board: a curry, a burger and a salad. We tried the burger and it was pretty tasty. There was also a vegan banana cake available, though we didn't try this so can't comment on it. The villages across Snowdonia aren't exactly brimming with vegan-friendly pubs and cafes, so it was great to see the vegan meals being so well promoted here a great start!"

For the location, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of options and how nice they were (not just half-arsed, proper options). Recommend if you are in the area, the only vegan-serving place I found for miles!

great that menu indicates whether eating is vegan or gluten-free, so they do not have to ask for another menu. eating was deliciously abundant and well presented. would recommend visiting this facility, I would like to return

we visited the new year and the young lady who served us was attentive and polite. regarding the menu, I am used to being a vegetarian of almost 30 years to the fact that vegetarian lip service is paid or even classified as inconvenience, so that the veggie choices have been very appreciated and I really enjoyed my veggie melt.

some decent vegan options on the menu including burger, curry and falafel. personal very friendly and knowledgeable about what was vegan. there were a few different vegan desserts, including an absolutely huge and very delicious sticky toffee pudding with vegan ice or cream. will definitely be back when ever in the opposite again.

many vegan options clearly marked on the menu. I had the burger and it was really nice. there are inside seats, a small in-house at the front with sitting facilities and a large sitting area in the open at the back near the river. spacious interieur, clean and the staff was friendly. there is a single toilet on the left side of the road.

Even though there wasn’t a specific vegan breakfast on the menu the staff were really helpful and made an excellent cooked breakfast of Linda McCartney sausages, sautéed potatoes, tomato, mushrooms, beans and toast (with vegan spread)! They have lots of excellent vegan options like burger, curry, sticky toffee pudding and apple pie too which I’ll be sampling later!

here for breakfast while staying on holiday and was really pleased to see a vegan breakfast, including a fully vegan breakfast (vegan sausage, beans, mushrooms, hash brews, tomatoes and toast) and a vegan sausage sandwich. the sausages are veggie style instead of a meat substitute but really delicious and not dry as they can be. it was a nice breakfast, but I would love that they were a bit braver and add a tofu scramble! updated by the previous review on 2021-08-29
