"Italian peak gastronomy in a unique/satisfactory environment when you ask in bad nenndorf and its surroundings, ten people for the best Italian, you get at least nine times the answer that you should go to the “Taormina”. we ourselves were already very often here and also know the competitors in the environment. but each time we notice that the creativity and flexibility, coupled with an excellent quality of antonio and crew, has not changed. After our last visit on a Thursday evening in the february, we decided to appreciate this consistent performance by this feedback. the “Taormina” restaurant, as you can also see on the photos, is a little hidden at the large road of bad nenndorf near the Rathaus. in front of the entrance area is located among the old trees - for the summer days - very beautiful rustic beer garden. the restaurant itself is simply “typical Italian”. it begins with the greeting, the typical Italian institution, the matching music and of course with the smell of pizza and pasta lying in the air. opposite the entrance door is the same and in the window area of the first space are approx. 5 very beautifully covered tables. in the rear area there are two more rooms, so that for about 50 people space is available. we had received our favourite table with a eckbank at the window after reservation. as an appetizer we had ordered a pizza bread with garlic for just 3,00 €. this very tasty brot has the size of a small pizza and is completely sufficient for two people. as a main dish we had once “Polio gorgonzola ( chicken breast in gorgonzolasoße) for 10,50 € and the tagliatelle (bandnudeln with cream sauce and ham) for 8,50 €. both dishes were very tasty and freshly made according to own Sicilian recipes. here everything is made by itself emphasizes the wet antonio from Sicily. he doesn't get into the kitchen. as a drink we chose the also delicious “Dunkle schaumburger Landbier” from the fass. to the conclusion, there was a small attention from the wet, yet an Italian grappa. simply “very good” italinieisch. a typical Italian as we like it! a la prossima! until next time in the taormina!"

best culinary Italian delights. one of the best Italian restaurants in the schaumburger country. And what is particularly important for me/our is a consistent food quality. because the restaurant is not too big and because of the delicious food many master guests must reserve in advance.

experience: due to the summer weather we had extra reserved a table for 7 people in front of the place. arrived there, we were told that we would probably have given up the reservation incorrectly, and therefore the table was reserved for inside. the discussion with the waiter unfortunately leads to nothing, there were no alternatives offered that would have been possible with something willing. after a short phone call in a Greek restaurant near us we quickly found an alternative and can enjoy the summer day outside. the taormina is no longer visited and is no longer recommended. who can't smile should not open his load at all.This old Chinese proverb is not lived here.We had a table reserved for a larger group in front of the restaurant, as the day should be summery. arrived in restaurant we were told that the reservation was given for indoors, a table in front restaurant was not free. now would have been a reasonably managed load still the one or other possibility found to save the situation this would not have. in the opposite, the service power (male) remained like a sniffed operandiva. a short call at a Greek restaurant close to us and a table was reserved for outside. we have left the ungassing restaurant and rather enjoyed the Greek hospitality. the servicewüs...

pleasantly surprised, because .... we have not expected this very good quality of the Mediterranean specialties. the “Taormina Restaurant” (formerly sale e pepe trattoria) is not long in bad nenndorf and is located a bit hidden on the wide road towards rodenberg on the left side, near the shopping center “WEZ”. for parking there are also parking directly in front of the house. the spaces have a sufficient and cozy ambiente for a restaurant pizzeria. the prices are very low, so all (very good taste) of noodle dishes are below nine euro. the typical Italian service was very customer-oriented (e.g. with special wishes), attentive and also very friendly. here you can see that everything is fresh...
