Super place with really fresh, lovely, tasty food. I had soft tacos and they were divine and really thoughtfully made with tofu too. Fresh, healthy and so tasty!

My favourite burrito place in Edinburgh. Closest to the real thing I've had in Scotland/outside of north america. Tasty, good portion sizes, and very reasonably priced. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. View menu

This is a fantastic place to grab a fast burrito! They grill the burritos after stuffing them, which is a unique touch that sets them apart from other places. They were closed for a long time during lockdown, but now they're back open until 7pm every day.

so much I have a small soft spot for pinto, I was quite impressed by taquito. for the value of the geld it is the place to go. £5 for a small burrito and a dose juice, they call a small, but it is a great size and very filling. I guess a big one must be the size of my head. the burrito itself was very freshly tasting and the service was quite fast. if they are on the hunt after a good burrito, I would highly recommend to kick in taquito over pinto!

The pork was juicy and the toppings were fresh. I appreciated the thin tortilla that wasn't overwhelming with flour. The burrito was toasted after being filled, giving it a nice crispy texture. taquito is a small Mexican street food place on greatcross. they are very straight. they can choose whether they want a burrito, tacos or quesadilla. then choose their flesh swarm, huh, bark meat or simply vegetarian and choose their filling. they make a lunch for a burrito and a dose for £5 which is a great value. the burrito I had was very tasty, I went for a spicy salsa that was only on my taste. beautiful fresh ingredients and a friendly fast service. they have a little table to sit down if they don't want to take. this is a good alternative to pinto that is just around a corner. taquito is more tasty, cheaper and more independent! try it.

To order, you first choose your main ingredient - pulled boar, brisket, or chorizo. Then, for your main dish, you can choose from a burrito, fajita, nachos, or quesadillas. There are also a variety of sauces to choose from. My personal favorite is the chorizo fajita, which was delicious. I will definitely be trying it again. Another favorite is the brisket nachos with extra cheese, which is also very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is efficient, although not overly friendly. However, the quick service more than makes up for it.
