"10.01.2020 At Anna in the Astakos I am now often a guest and always enthusiastic. My friends are all happy so far. In the beginning I usually only took Gyros. In the meantime, I tried something through the map. Moussaka is simply delicious, even Stifado can be seen. As a supplement, I like roast potatoes. 30.12.2016.I am in this restaurant with a friend on Thursday at 7 pm. I have a good feeling when entering. We are kindly greeted and the table is offered in the window. The place is very cozy and not particularly large. The beverage order is accepted and served only a little later. A ouzo is also welcome. It is asked for the additions to the following menu: 1st gear: Pikilia Trio (Zaziki, Tamaras and piquant sheep cheese cream) *2nd gear: Greek pea salad *3nd gear: Doraden fillet with vegetables or Greek grill plate (Gyros, pork fillet steaks, bifteki) incl. Deposit by choice *4. Gang: Revani Greek Grießkuchen mit Coconut-Rasp The first course is served with good bread. Especially the piquant sheep cheese cream can convince. Bread is fed and all three creams are fully fed. A great start. The salad is also excellent and enjoys the main course. And here I must say quite clearly: I didn't get the good meat in Greek anymore. My accompaniment is also totally enthusiastic. The best bifteki he could eat before. A really good grill. Rice and potatoes are also top. Gyros fantastic. No slices are diceed or dipped in fat. Only pure meat. Very lonely: Gyros was offered as a supplement. But the part was very good and also for a good eater like me more than sufficient. The little cake with cream to dessert is just right. That's all I could have done. In the end there is another ouzo. And because the two girls on the side table don't want the third one anymore. All in a good evening. Great food, warm service and a harmonious ambience. What else do you want?"

A small Greek with a nice ambience. The dishes were all very delicious and also very much. In any case, one gets tired of it; it is also really appropriate and good. We had a nice evening here and will definitely come back. View menu

Familiary, warm and tasty. We were there three and we were just hungry. On our request the lady brought an additional small part, everything was freshly prepared and super lubricated. The staff was very attentive and friendly. You just have a good mood.

I used to like to order but the last painting was the gyros not of good quality. the one time it tasted muffy and last time it was a pfannengyros and was drinking oil. really gross. the two stars are available for the good roast potatoes and the tzatziki.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
