"During my stay in the Ritz Carlton in London I failed to visit the *-restaurant Aqua.So I went to the Terra and although the Hannover Industrial Fair was in full swing I got a table without reservation.Very friendly welcome, nice table from where I could look to the futuristic power station of VW. It was a late evening and I decided for 3 starters:The salad was fresh and good, but a little bit cramped together.The soup was excellent – creamy with nice flavours.I finished with a steak tartare, well seasoned and options to modify / add some condiments.The white wine (Riesling) went well with the first 2 courses.The red (a Primitivo from Apulia) great – and I assume the fly I did find in the glass was under the same impression. Apologies from the waiter and the Mairte d’ who opened a new bottle.A good place to dine - but still waiting for the water (Aqua)."

Dieses Restaurant hat uns sehr enttäuscht. Die Speisekarte ist speziell, die Gerichte sind vom Namen her interessant aber klein und langweilig. Wir hatten eine große erwartung aufgrund von Informationen aber für uns war dieser Abend gelaufen.

Das Terra ist sicher eines der besten Restaurants und überzeugt durch eine außergewöhnle Speisenauswahl. Diese reicht vom Burger bis zu edlen Wildgerichten. Der Service ist sehr gut nur ist das Preis- Leistungs- Verhhältniss etwas unstimmig, denn diese Qualität gibt es auch anderswo und das zum Teil deutlich preiswerter.

Wer waren am28.01.2017 im hotel. Das hotel hat uns sehr gefallen. Freundlichkeit und Service waren sehr gut zum Abendessen waren wir im restaurant terra. Das Essen war eine Katastrophe Preis und Leistungsverhältnis haben keinesfalls gestimmt. Wir waren 4 personen und jeder hat etwas liegen gelassen.,da die Qualität nicht stimmte. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder in das hotel werden aber das Restaurant terra nicht mehr besuchen

Good value for money. We did book our table while checking in. We were 30 minutes too early on the booked timeslot. It did seems a problem the restaurant was not fully booked but a solution was found. There is not so much choise on the menu and the suggestions of different kind of aspergous are maincourse sizes and no starters sizes. In general the food was good. The salade was dressed on our table. The service very friendly and professionele

Wir waren zum Business Lunch inklusive Wasser, Kaffee, Parkservice 16 € . Guter preis aber....Ein Wiener Schnitzel sollte auch die originalen Dressings haben, zumindest in der Preisklasse in dem Hotel. Ein nacktes Wiener Schnitzel ohne Sardelle und Kapern, geht gar nicht. Zumindest war es ok. zubereitet aber "nackt" Der Salat war gut.Ein Espresso gehört in eine vorgewärmte Tasse und sollte nicht säuerlich schmecken.Fazit Mittelmäßiges Essen, preiswert aber dem Hotel und dem Ambiente nicht angemessen.

We went for lunch in the restaurant Terra.They have a business menu, and also some dishes like salads or hamburguers.The view from the restaurant is great: you can see the factory and the lake in front of you. The atmosphere inside is also very nice, with a fire place making it cosy.For lunch, we choose a Terra Hamburguer: brioche roll / cream cheese / red onion chutney / lettuce / tomato / pickled cucumber / tomato relish. Not sure about the cream cheese in the composition, but the hamburguer beef was delicious: perfectly done. The dish came with fries, that were also very good.

Das Restaurant war eine Enttäuschung für mich. Der Service war nicht angemessen. So wartete ich 10 Minuten auf ein neues Getränk. Das leere Glas wurde nicht weiter beachtet, leider. Auf das Hauptgericht wartete ich insgesamt fast eine halbe Stunde. Was ich dann bekommen habe, war umso enttäuschender. Die Qualität des Rinderfilets war unter Durschnitt und die Beilagen ebenso. Es war zur Hälfte zäh und korrekt gebraten war es leider auch nicht. Sehr schade. Bis abgeräumt wurde, vergingen weitere 15 Minuten, in denen man mir leider wieder keinerlei Beachtung geschenkt hat. Nach einer Nachspeise oder Café wurde ich gar nicht erst gefragt. Beim nächsten Mal mache ich einen großen Bogen um dieses...

"First of all, a small disclaimer: The four stars should be understood in the context of the claim. This is of course quite high for a restaurant of this category. I was missing a little something atmospherically. The Aqua presents itself as noble and purposeful, but it lacks a bit of the extraordinary component. The menu, for all its quality, which I'll get to later, misses the chance to tell a story. The service had a few unexpected vulnerabilities. Among other things, there was a lack of consistency in the address (sometimes you, sometimes you) and people failed to introduce themselves. The fluctuation within the service staff was also noticeable; I would have liked to have been accompanied through the evening by the same person. But there were also many nice moments in which our numerous questions were answered competently and friendly. One can summarize here that the atmosphere and service are certainly subjective, but they seemed a bit too stiff and submissive for me. About the menu: The Kalamata olive was a first highlight for me. Simple, with local cheese, but surprising in its intensity of taste. The bread served was also convincing. Well-made sourdough bread enriches every menu. Pulpo and Chorizo were also convincing. With the pork belly, the fantastic, slightly peppery aftertaste of the jus was a particularly great experience. The eagle fish carpaccio was a dish with a high surprise factor. While the outer part was almost a little boring, the flavor intensity increased massively towards the middle. The red onions were awesome. The Breton sole resulted in a very familiar and less innovative taste, which was so technically perfect that it was still my second highlight of the evening. We continued with an onsen egg, which once again showcased the Aqua team's exceptional craftsmanship. With the Étoufféé pigeon, the question of the meaning of the name should perhaps have been avoided. Even though I'm a little frightened by the perfidious methods of dealing with animals that our French neighbors sometimes practice, the pigeon in this form was a completely new culinary event for me. So exactly what I expect from upscale gastronomy. The champagne sorbet just wasn't for me. But the same applies here: great quality and attractive presentation. The first desert, consisting of coconut, carrots and passion fruit sorbet, was creative, beautiful and tasty and qualified as the third highlight. The second: popcorn, corn and strawberries was the complete opposite and by far the weakest dish of the day. I have no idea what they were thinking. The praline finale was a visual highlight, but in terms of taste I didn't have much choice. All in all, the Aqua presented itself at a fantastic level on the ability scale. But I think the restaurant lacks a bit of character. Despite this criticism, I had a really successful evening."
