"We went to celebrate my birthday and it was fantastic. We had an incredible time. Thanks to the attention of all the guys who served us, the food was excellent as always, we were 16 people between adults and children and we were able to reserve and have everything ready when we arrived. I recommend an incredible variety of food and each one of them delicious not only for adults but for children. We will be back! Thanks to all the staff at Regina Café Vecindario for everything!"

"Although we hadn't booked for dinner we were given a really nice table in what appeared initially to be a fairly quiet restaurant. Being English we had arrived before everyone else and by the time we left the place was very busy indeed. Understandable because we thought this restaurant really good. The food, service, atmosphere and value for money were excellent and we would highly recommend this restaurant."

"el restaurante es pequeño, pero tiene una gran terraza, situada en un lugar inmejorable, en la plaza de la iglesia de agüimes, tranquila y sin mucho tráfico. la comida es simplemente espectacular, sabores innovadores con materia prima canaria de primera calidad. Unos pocos platos que disfrutamos mucho, sinceramente lo que intentamos, no sabríamos qué era mejor, aunque las calles y lasaña de cordero estaban en otro nivel. el servicio era también 10, no un solo error en el comando y los platos salían con mucha fluidez, pero sin la mesa. el precio bastante competitivo, unos 30€ por cabeza. una apuesta segura si usted es para simios o alrededores."

"Firstly check opening times, we arrived at 8pm to be asked to return in 10 mins when they would be ready to open. In fairness, this is Spain and generally people eat later in the evening. By the time we returned after a GnT in the bar just a few doors down, the restaurant was filling up and had already got a good vibe. Being on a Keto diet, which mean minimum carbs I opted for the steak option but with a salad instead of the rice. The steak was huge and had a great flavour, sadly it was very sinewy, and I probably should have stuck to the other option I had considered of the Chopotle chicken. By the time we had finished our meal the restaurant was full and there was a queue forming outside. So would highly recommend but suggest you stick to the Mexican options. The guacamole which they make at your table looked amazing, so be sure to have some of that."

"We loved this place for its coziness and for eating with the locals. We went here two nights in a row and saw no other tourists. The first night (a Friday) had wonderful live music (three men.. singer, guitarist, and percussionist), and the second night featured a group of a dozen older women singing along with a guitarist, getting louder with every song. The food was wonderful. Tonight we only had starters, but the portions are very generous. I had carpaccio, which came with manchego, sliced mushrooms and olive oil, and was drizzled with lime juice; I loved that. My wife had a vegetable soup she really enjoyed. The house wine is good, and the staff is attentive, professional, and clearly enjoy their jobs. I even saw them dancing along with some other patrons tonight simply great."
