"we've been in Frankfurt area for the last 3 weeks and ate in several places and this is one of the best. located in a residential part of the city. at first service was a bit slow and we waited for abt 20 minutes until a waitress came over, we ordered the shrimp on lemongrass skewers, which was the weakest part of the meal as the shrimp were almost tasteless. Foe mains my dearest ordered the spareribs with truffle butter and garlic chips and I ordered the 600gr whiskey aged ribeye. when the dishes came we were in shock, they were so huge that could have fed 4 people easily. the Ribs were perfect, the chips were nice and crispy. My ribeye was medium rare although I ordered Medium, but it was OK as it came on a hotplate. the flavor was perfect. for dessert we ate the panna Cota with mango which too was good. we had a bottle of Argentinian Malbec which was a perfect fit for the meat bottom line, a wonderful (but not cheap) dinner"

Food was great, only the ventilation is not that good, you smell of french fries. It's also a shame that smoking is allowed in the next room, it's a bar with a lounge character. But as I said, eat hammer

Visiting frankfurt and happend to come across this restaurant. The setting and atmosphere is perfect and the food is to die for. Portion sizes are great and the taste of the food is excellent. If your ever in Frankfurt stop by Thai and Surf you won't be disappointed. It is Wunderbar !!!

I can only recommend it, but only with a reservation and you shouldn't have too high demands on the furniture, external appearance and the location. You will be rewarded with top kitchens and service. Treat the products to be processed with respect and stand by them. The price is absolutely justified for this gastronomic service and the products used. Keep it up! Wish you and us a corona-free time and good business at all times

I’ve reserved a table last week for yesterday’s lunch. The reservation was managed with Open Table and it was confirmed. Unfortunately arriving at the restaurant yesterday evening we sadly discovered that the restaurant was closed. Apparently they have moved to another location, but there was no information outside the restaurant. Even calling by phone there was no recorded voice informing customers. I was with guest and this was the worst experience I’ve had with restaurants of all my life. Also TripAdvisor should take some steps …
