This is one of my favourite gastro pubs in the area. The outdoor terrace seating has a perfect view and the service and quality of good have consistently been excellent. At night when it might get chilly, the terrace has heaters built into the umbrellas to keep you nice and warm. Good easy parking also available outside. Really impressive! We ordered beef and it was ‘melt in the mouth’ and a generous portion too. The vegetables were steamed to perfection and the mash, gravy and Yorkshire were just as good. The service was prompt and friendly. I’d rate it the best Sunday...lunch I’ve had anywhere in the area and the price was on a par with all the others I’ve tried. I’d definitely recommend you try it sometime. callie B

since I no longer work in central london, I would just forget everything, the happiness after work drinks. especially on a summer evening where the sun is still bright; the last thing to do is to travel to the deep of the underground system and to brave the sweaty panzerbrigade on the way home. much better to stay in town and cool for an hour or three over a beer or a white wine splash. the albany is very good for post-work drinks. there is plenty of space in this renovated Victorian classic, a series of good beers and lemons and a reasonable selection of crying. it does not reach the lofty gastronomic michelin star heights of pubs like the...read more View menu
