"After booking online at the morning of the lunch I received a booking confirmation of which I organised the family and met them at the pub. We arrived and there was no record of our booking and they were fully booked. We had a four year old and a month old baby as part of our party and waited over in the bar area whilst the staff rather negatively/aggressively discussed if I was lying about the booking or not. Eventually they provided a table of six (a table had sat empty the whole time) and mentioned they had moved a few things round. Their excuse was the online booking system wasnt checked as they had been too busy to phone to say pub was full. I had travelled down from Sheffield for a special occasion and was happy nobody had told us. Lunch I can say was great but service wasn’t. Waited to order our drinks and gave up after asking for he dessert menus after of nobody attending our table. Ended up going to the local shop for dessert!"

Great location and good food although the service was not that great, expect a wait.

Would think they would benefit from serving food on warm plates. That's why i didn't give it full star rating. View menu

Our food was served cold, asked for no salad dressing but the salad arrived with dressing, the drinks order had to be requested a second time and then only half arrived the rest minutes later. A poor experience.

I have two English friends who visit Perth Australia on a regular basis and I had two cousins from Perth here on holiday and I thought it would be good for them to meet for the first time. We all had an enjoyable evening.

Lovely birthday meal with my family. Food was lovely, went on a Wednesday night which was pie night. Service was a little slow but nothing to complain about. Finished off our meal with a desert. Overall lovely restaurant to go to. View menu

Had a lovely meal at The Badgers with my daughter. Staff were attentive but not overly intrusive and could answer questions we had about the menu. A couple of the menu options were not available but otherwise could not fault the evening.

What a pity. Great location and ambience, decent menu, but the quality of food was average, and the service was shocking. We booked table for after a walk, which I hoped would avoid the main rush, but despite ordering shortly after arrival, our food didn't arrive til Children were starving by this point. My son had ordered pasta from the children menu but the portion was tiny. We didn't dare order desert, usually the highlight for my children, for fear of an even longer wait. This could be a great place to dine if they paid a bit more attention to the quality and had the staff and service to manage it.

"Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. I ordered for everyone and despite some of them being difficult one colleague kept asking for samosas, aah! the service was faultless. Staff were super attentive and helpful, patient, friendly, good fun, and extremely accommodating. Just perfect! And they stayed open for us quite late without rushing us out, what more can you ask for? Ok, so the food. It was SO so good and I'm already planning to go back. The kimchi was bang on how I like (a big deciding factor for me strongly fermented/pickled and spicy, and fresh. All the bulgogi (marinated meat , dolsot bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl , jjigae (stew/ramen style soups , seafood and extras that were served tasted just like I had hoped they would. Presentation was great everything looked properly appetizing and vegetables and seafood, etc were all clean and fresh. I was too busy stuffing my face and enjoying the moment and company to take photos, but the few photos I've seen on here are true to life. Other things people might be interested in: This restaurant is kitted out to cook Korean BBQ at/in/on your table. It is spacious, with lots of tables and room to move around. Decor is tasteful and minimal. It is clean and indeed I was warned by staff when going upstairs to the ladies' to be careful as the stairs and the toilets had all just been cleaned (and clean they were! . If you're looking for good Korean food, look no further. If you're looking to try Korean food for the first time, this is a great place to start. Go for it! Might see you there, if I can help it :D [I've copied this review over from where I originally posted it because this listing and the one for OPPA in Leicester are the same exact restaurant, FYI]"
