"This charming old English pub with its beamed architecture features GK Abbot IPA on tap. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible food. I ordered the liver and bacon served with a rich red wine onion gravy and thick fries—absolutely delicious and elevated beyond traditional English fare to a fine dining experience. My wife had the bass with sautéed new potatoes and a lemon, garlic, and caper sauce, accompanied by asparagus, which she found to be superb. To be honest, from the outside, we expected a casual spot with scampi and chips and a couple of old fellows playing checkers at the bar. How wrong we were! This place is truly a refined restaurant with a cozy pub atmosphere. Kudos to the team—we can’t wait to come back!"
