"Dropped in on a late September Thursday evening around 8ish. Plenty of people in the seating area so that was a good sign. Was welcomed straight away and order taken (Regular Cod Cheesy Chips and a Regular Haddock Chips). Was told it would be about 5 or 6 minutes which is good as the fish is cooked to order. Right on time the order was ready. For a regular (large is available) this was a good amount of food and properly filling (especially the cheesy chips) nothing greasy and some of the best chips I've had in ages. The tl;dr ? Very clean, welcoming, polite staff and food was great and good value. Will we go back quite probably as they are well positioned at the entrance to Tesco so parking is easy and we enjoyed the food."

"Would have given zero stars had that been possible. Booked well in advance. Kept waiting with three other couples for a good 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Shown to our table to find a party of guests still eating/drinking. Went to another table to find cleaning products and dirty cloth on table. The gentleman at the door was absolutely out of his depth and had little or no management training. Door notice said they were accepting only bookings, everyone else turned away due to lack of staff. If there was only limited staff on that evening why did no-one think to cancel bookings/rebook customers for another time. Staff completely overwhelmed and stressed. This place needs strong management and leadership. It really is a complete shambles. GIVE IT A MISS.Needless to say our party of four walked out in disgust."

"Decided to try the Crown in Fakenham as they do a Carvery on a Sunday, but what swayed us even more to go there was they allow dogs and there is a Dog Menu. We did phone a couple of days before to make sure we would get a table, which was in the bar because we were taking our dog. On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming and showed us to our table. We ordered drinks non alcoholic for me and a coke for the wife, and ordered and paid for our Carvery at the same time. Our dog had a Carvery too he could choose between Beef or Turkey, he had the Turkey with roast spuds, veg and Yorkshire pudding obviously no gravy. I went to the restaurant to get our meals, today's meat choice were Beef, Gammon, Turkey and Pork with Crackling very nice too. I decided that we would have a bit of every meat and it was cooked to perfection. Then you moved along the counter there were roast spuds, roast Parsnips, stuffing balls, big Yorkshire puddings, Cauliflower Cheese. Moving further along were the veg, Peas, Broccoli, Carrots, Red Cabbage, Sweet Corn and French Beans. Obviously there was Gravy and all the Condiments that accompany the Meats. To be honest our plates were big but they couldn't cope with the amount of food piled on them. The food was very nice and hot everything was cooked very well and really tasty and the prices were very reasonable Adult Carvery £12.95 and the Dog Carvery was £3.95 which came in a big dog bowl full to the top. If we are still in the area next week we will be booking again, highly recommend The Crown's Sunday Carvery."

"What's not to like? This little kebab/pizza outlet is bar far the best on town. How many pizza can you get? Monday's the best with 2for1 on any pizza, and when they come with 3 extra toppings free, o think it would be criminal not to try their menu on Mondays. The guys, who are mostly Turkish nationals, are always freindly and pleasant and ready with a quick chat if they are not busy. The only let down, in my opinion, is that they do not deliver. Collection only, but it is really worth calling ahead with your order or by using their website you can place and order ready 15 mins later or you can if you turn up and order and wait."

"The takeaway at this Indian restaurant left much to be desired. The food was disappointing, with dishes overcooked to the point of losing their flavors. Additionally, the distinction between a plain naan and a Peshawari naan was virtually non-existent, making the menu's variety seem misleading. The inconvenience of only accepting cash, despite having a card machine, added unnecessary hassle to the payment process, creating a sense of inconvenience for customers. Overall, the combination of poorly prepared food and payment issues detracted from what could have been an enjoyable meal. Luckily we were only on holiday. If this was our local Indian we’d have to move house !"
