"I recently took my mom out for lunch at this fantastic little place. I snapped a photo of the menu to show everyone the great prices and generous portions. The restaurant has plenty of seating inside, but my mom and I opted to sit outside for a lovely atmosphere. When the sun is shining, it's easy to forget you're in the UK for a moment! The quirky decor, with signs hanging on the walls and old road signs, adds to the great atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit - I'll definitely be coming back regularly. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and you get great value for your money."

Staff are very rude. They have shouted at my wife the last 3 times she has been there and we are not going back.

This is one of my favourite places to eat and staff are really friendly. Such a good choice on the menu and it is so affordable. Good basic English food and excellent value.

The food was excellent and the service top-notch. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The outdoor garden was a lovely and peaceful place to sit.

This place is lovely, cosy and welcoming with lots of interesting nick-nacks around and friendly staff. Only eaten breakfast in here which is very nice although the sausages leave a lot to be desired. It's worth a visit though as it's so quaint. View menu

We went for a birthday breakfast here on Saturday. It was amazing! The food was delicious, piping hot and served very quickly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely cosy tea room, we will definitely visit again. Thank you for such a great breakfast!

The Beehive Tearooms is accessible from South Street and via the Back Lane car park. The service is friendly, but the interior looks tired and the ventilation could be improved, judging by the steamed up windows. The drinks and food are okay. Toilets are outside in the rear garden.

The homemade food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. It is a charming little place that makes me feel so comfortable, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff, all of whom are women, are incredibly friendly and it's a nice touch that they remember me. I highly recommend this restaurant and am grateful to have it so close to where I live. Went as an impromptu Sunday lunch date with my partner. Upon arrival we sat down and waited to be served, it took a while but we were eventually served (may have been as a result of where we were sitting) we received our drinks quickly and ordered our food. Once the food arrived it was as you would expect from a small town tea room. Overall it was neither an overwhelming nor underwhelming experience. Service wise it felt like that they had forgotten about us. We left without desert as our plates were taken and we weren't asked if we would like to order any.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at SoPa Thai, and it was truly a delightful experience! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me to a world of Thai sophistication and allure. The culinary exploration began with Tom Kha, a delightful combination of coconut milk, galangal, and lemongrass. Each spoonful was a delicious harmony of creamy and zesty flavors that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. It wasn't just soup; it felt like a warm embrace in a bowl. Next, the beautifully presented Green Curry arrived. The curry was a work of art, filled with the richness of green chilies and fragrant basil leaves. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was incredibly tender, all bathed in a sauce that was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Then came the highlight of the evening, Pad Thai. The noodles were coated in a flavorful tamarind sauce, mixed with eggs, tofu, and a generous sprinkling of crushed peanuts. The dish was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left my taste buds amazed. The grand finale was the Mango and Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and sweet, a wonderful complement to the warm yet slightly salty sticky rice. Drizzled with coconut milk, this dessert was not just a treat but a festival of flavors. In summary, SoPa Thai is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary paradise. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise in balancing flavors and textures. If you're in search of an authentic Thai dining experience, SoPa Thai is the place to go. Their Tom Kha, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice take you on a journey through the heart of Thailand. I highly recommend it!"
