"Unfortunately, my lasagne was only mildly warm at first, but as I continued to eat, I found it to be quite cold. It seemed like the middle had not been heated properly before being served. I debated whether to return it to the bar, but did not want to embarrass my friends or cause a scene. I eventually managed to finish the meal, but it was not an enjoyable experience. When my friend mentioned that her lasagne was also cold, I regretted not speaking up earlier. I am writing this review a few days later to share my experience, highlighting smaller issues that others may overlook. Compared to other pubs, I am hesitant to recommend this chain based on my recent visit."

The restaurant offers a good atmosphere, food, drinks, and service, but the tables are sometimes sticky depending on the time of day.

Spoons!? I wish they would invest in some utensils. I waited for 18 minutes for one before I gave up and devoured my brownie with my paws like a wild fox.

We went on Friday lunchtime, the staff were very jovial . We had a mixed grill that was brilliant, it was nice that it wasn't crowded with too many tables, squashed together.

As a spoons goes this is a good one. Quick service, clean tables, good food. Very deceiving from the inside as looks small. But is a very long building. Does get busy Friday/ Saturday evenings. So you will need to be quick to grab a...table View menu

I have visited many Wetherspoons pubs across England this has got to be one of the nicest I have visited. At 5pm on a Friday teatime the pub was busy but comfortable, seats available and several helpful staff behind the bar serving. Food was ordered...and arrived promptly. A very nice open, airy pub off the Main Street.

we stayed for the weekend in the city and stayed a few doors down from this pub, found it very busy but efficient running, fast service and friendly staff. large atmosphere made from people of all age groups and for a pleasant evening. wetherspoons get a...reputation of some, but this is not fair as this place is as good as they get.

This is my 2nd weekend of coming here, last Saturday it was filthy, tables were disgusting with plates and empty glasses on and sticky, was passing today so thought we would give it another chance and it was worse!! Never been in such a dirty...pub in all my life. Ordered food and the halloumi fries were over cooked, pizza was under cooked and plastered in tomato purée.. won’t be visiting again!! View menu

Visited this pub and ordered coffee via the app, after 10 min had to go to the bar to collect the cups, we were told we had to use paper cups as they had no clean cups available. The place is filthy and the tables...are never cleared or cleaned. There was no sugar when asked the waitress just threw them on the top. Perhaps Wetherspoons should think about training them better and tell them not to stand outside on there phones.

We have eaten in Wetherspoons innumerable times over the years when travelling in the UK. Tonite was an experience. Saturday nite in a Uni town!!! What can we say. Loud, boisterous folks, many of them with too much to drink and not enough to eat,...which doesn 't explain the lack of fish for f&c!! In any event, we are older and did the same thing when we were their age! The staff treated us well and upgraded our dinner! No worries, we will always return to them, but perhaps not again on a Saturday night!! '
