"We booked a table at this busy restaurant on a Thursday night, and it was packed with customers. The restaurant offers a small but satisfying selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I enjoyed the glamorgan sausage, while my partner chose the teifi halloumi and sirhowy freekeh, both of which were delicious. This restaurant is rumored to be Dylan Thomas's favorite pub, and it is said to have been the inspiration for Llareggub in New Quay. The beer served here is from the Mws Piws brewery in Porthmadog, and it was all good. While Welsh is commonly spoken in this area, the staff mainly communicate in English. I accidentally greeted a local with a Welsh phrase at breakfast and was met with a flow of melodic Welsh speech, which I did not understand much of. For those unfamiliar with Welsh pronunciation, Mws sounds like "elose" and Piws is similar to "piw-ss," as pronounced by the very non-vegan Elmer Fudd."

It would have been nice to have more options for appetizers and a different dessert option instead of sorbet.

It would have been better to have a menu option for those new to the cuisine, as well as a dessert choice other than just sorbet.

There were no appetizers offered, but that wasn't a problem for us as we are vegan. The restaurant had 3 main courses that could be made vegan: chili for 14.90, curry, and dahl. The chips were cooked in the same oil as fish, so they often made potato wedges for us instead.

We were disappointed that there were no starter options for us as vegans, but were pleased to find three main course options that we could enjoy: chilli (£14.90), curry, and tagine. However, we had to request that the chips be cooked separately from animal products, so the restaurant kindly made potato wedges for us in the oven instead.

We went to a bustling restaurant on a Thursday evening and found it to be packed, but rightly so. The menu offered a small yet satisfying selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I opted for the Glamorgan sausages while my partner chose the Teifi halloumi, both of which were delicious. This place is said to be Dylan Thomas's favorite pub and is rumored to have inspired Llareggub in New Quay. The draught ale we had was from the Purple Moose Brewery in Porthmadog and was quite enjoyable. While Welsh is commonly spoken in the area, both the bar and restaurant staff primarily communicate in English. I greeted the breakfast attendant with "bore da" and was met with a friendly stream of Welsh, wh...
