"Tarana Review of Tarana restaurant Lingfield , location is very prominent , on the main High Street. The restaurant can be easily be seen on the high street after passing the roundabout as you enter the high street . As you enter the front door , you quickly realise it’s so large in size and very spacious with colourful lighting. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated with a wow factor , great ambiance . As you walk through there is lounge bar area on the left to enjoy a drink before you are seated to your table. Tonight we are here to dine and enjoy the Dua Lipa live tribute singing and dancing so great atmosphere here tonight ! They have a wonderful range of cocktails non alcoholic and alcoholic with exciting range of drink menu . Great if you’re driving and not in to alcohol , the choice is unlimited unlike your usual typical indian with basic soft drinks . There is dance floor to do some hip hop or just slow , choice is yours! We have been to most of their restaurants and it’s “simply the best” in terms of entertainment food and drinks . The prices are very reasonable for what you get from them and service is wonderful with a smile King prawn butterflies appetisers and king purree , wonderful and nicely flavoured, served with designer chillies and salad . Main courses , Tiger Prawn biryani King prawn biryani duck biryani with side dishes of fresh bindi bhaji sag bhaji tarka dall wow ! Simply mind blowing food "

"Booked a table for 4 never been before, I know few people who have been several times not sure why. I think it lacks service not particularly friendly waiters only smiled when I did. I felt like they could have made more of an effort, we told them it was our first time and only had Thai once before. They were not interested in talking about the menu maybe because they didn’t understand or couldn’t hear as did notice one waiter had a hearing aid. Also they were all elderly and didn’t look Like they really wanted to be there. The decor was awful Christmas lights and various old fashioned pieces around the restaurant rather off putting. The food On the other hand was not bad I had tiger cry sirloin beef which was tasty and prawn noodles which were nice. The fish cakes for starter were not nice rubbery. I would go back for a second time and try some Other dishes but not in a hurry."

"We ate here for the first time and will definitely return. Lots of dishes to choose from. This is not your run if the mill curry house. It has many dishes that you don't often see, as it has a proud Nepalese heritage. The food was absolutely amazing, lovely spices, great taste. The staff are very attentive. I didn't know a lot of the dishes on the menu, but the staff took time to explain. A great variety of beers and wine, too. The venue is well spaced out, light and airy with fantastic Himalayan pictures, etc. It is a stand-alone building off the A22 and has plenty of parking. Everything is on one level for the restaurant, so it should be great for people of all physical abilities. Highly recommended."

"If there were a then I 'd chose that, short of that, I will give one ! First a d the last time I will ever go to this place again. Reasons?: 1 Services: as me and my wife entered, no one directed us to a table. When we sat, the table was as filthy one could imagine, I 'd havr to get my jacket cleaned!!! 2 When asked for a glass of wine to start, when it arrived the outside of them glass had more wine then the inside... not even doilies. 3 Starters; one little olives so small I needed a microscope to see them... !!! 4 all the servers (5 of them around my table) but I had to go pick up my drinks off the bar, since I was waiting for someone to bring g them to us for easily 5 min.. 5 Ordered a fish n chips and a burger, I would not even feed them to my dogs, let alone ... the oil in which it was fried in was so burnt that as soon as we came back home my wife was sick! All the way from SM2 area to this place for that kind of "services ? I am a chef, and know when the food is high quality! This was far from it!!! I paid £100.46 , 10% service charge for that ??? If you have any decency, then you would refund the money at the very least!!! Never again !!! The only good part of it was the view of the lake, and that was part of nature, free of charge!"
