"I would love to recommend if a few adjustments were made... so minor but so crucial. Beautiful day but every single table in the garden was covered with bird poo and the grass uncut... why? Stunning place but the language (swearing aloud) from staff was not okay. Conversations about “****” earnings should be saved for after hours. Wish the staff were more mindful because it is such a stunning place that I would make regular visits much more frequent if these small adjustments were made! Food is stunning, fresh and definitely worth the higher price tag so please let the service be given in sympathy I visited for a special lunch with my 7 year old daughter and was let down by the above remarks. Nonetheless I will return because I know the place is worth a second chance."

The main meals were delicious but overpriced. The starter was pate but more like a terrine and my daughters childs fish and chips had bones in it. It was ok overall, but I wouldn’t go back because of these reasons.

Lovley place! We liked the French influence in the design of decor. The garden is a showstopper and the food was as expected. They even had a an Easter egg hunt for the kids in the garden which we did after dinner. We will go back for sure.

The food was nicely presented, quality was excellent and the portion size was about right. However, the service was appallingly slow. It took about 25 minutes for someone to take our desert order and then another 15 minute wait . That was unacceptable.

Sunday lunch for 5 on 7th April. Potato and Leek soup starter was very tasty as were the spicy chicken wings. All three roasts were excellent though a bit more bread sauce with the chicken wouldn't go amiss!! Burger was one of the best ever. Nice to be encouraging children to eat greens but baked beans would be a nice alternative with the sausages and mash. Desserts also very good crème brulee, syrup sponge and coconut panna cotta. Very good pint of Wolf Golden Jackal from the bar. Service was very good and our waitress very personable and attentive. Saw advertised in Norfolk Life magazine and will certainly return.
