"We had a wake here for my mother in law and we must say it was so beautiful and stunning x the room was set out perfectly for us x it's so clean and fresh it gave you a real sense of being some where special x the Manager Helen was so helpful and she went out of her way to make sure that we had every thing that we needed x the staff were amazing and very helpful x we had the afternoon tea with beautiful sandwiches, jam cream scones, brownies, duck shaped biscuits and other bits x it was amazing and very well worth the money x everyone complemented on how perfect it was and how much they enjoyed it x we will not hesitate to have any other functions here or even a meal x we cannot thank you all enough for such a lovely day my mother in law would have been so pleased xx"

"Lively little pub, serving food and drink, where you'll be lucky to get a table or a parking space most of summer. Nice location right by the sea so great place to watch the world go by. Had a nice lunch here with friends and it was all around £25. Ordered drinks and sandwiches, which had generous fillings and came with fries and salad. My friends ham was a bit too thickly sliced for my liking, but they loved it and my grated cheese and pickle was just right for me. Will definitely visit again."

"had a nice lunch on a day trip to the island. the three buoys is just 15 minutes to walk from the hover harbour in a beautiful location with views of the appley beach. the service was perfectly very friendly and efficient. eating was excellent and the menu was varied with interesting elements on a solid basis. the beer squirted fish and chips was delicious with the best I ever tasted, mixed with spinach and a cat filled tartar sauce. perhaps too many cats for those who are not fans of cats, but still delicious. the fish was beautiful and the teig was delicious and not heavy or greasy. I had the seabarschfilets with a red pfeffer pesto, sweethorn velouté, coconut jelly, carburized pak choi, black sesame and red chili. there were also some unannounced spring onions and criminals that complemented the court nicely. the coconut jelly cubes lacked in the coconut flavor and the cut red chili was a little too much for my taste. it contrasted too strongly against the brighter red pfeffer pesto and sweethorn velouté according to my opinion, but it was no effort to separate the few discs from the court. the seabarschfilets were cooked for perfection and packed with taste from the pan. moistened and tastefully with a firm skin, just as it should be. also the grilled pak choi were excellent and both that and the fish were the stars of the show. we had some extraordinary moules marinière as starter. they were not on the menu, but we were accommodated when we asked for them. the mushes were fresh and juicy, only cooked long enough. too many places serve overcooked mush, but this is not one of them. the sauce was plentiful and ridiculously tasty when used a little too much cream (for anyone who observes their waist). this was accompanied by the best garlic bread I cost. the part was also very generous for a starter. I had a local ale to accompany my soul bass, which went very well together. there was so much taste in the fish and pak choi that a bright white wine to blande in comparison I fear so that I was happy with my choice. I had hoped a little more seafood on the menu when I first saw it when I was in the mood for a seafood plate or similar. if I had seen the menu before, I might have gone somewhere and I would have missed on one of the best meals I had in some time. It shows that a good restaurant can take a somewhat regular dish and make it an unforgettable one. I wish I didn't drive this day later, because their gin and tonic and wein selection were very seductive. I'll be sure to come back next time with an overnight stay. at £ 21 per head this was exceptionally good. I love that the service has not been included yet suggested and I hope that the employees do well on tips because they deserve it absolutely. I can't recommend the three buoys enough and remember the meal lively as I write these days later."

"I have visited many coastal cities fish and chip restaurants and this place tops the lists of have to eat places. I had cooked the squid and chips to perfection. they have their own home made tarter sauce rich and creamy supplement the dish so good. wights is just not you average chippy! customer service food location"

"Had lunch today, however my wife’s veggie burger and chips were a million miles from ideal although she did eat half of the meal but not the salad as that looked limp. My fish and chips were probably the worst I’ve ever encountered. Cold plates for starters that meant the peas were cold, chips were overcooked so crispy all the way through. The fish (Haddock) was what you would cheaply buy in Tesco for circa £1.49 the type you would not buy unless you had hit hard times. You know the type slightly triangle shape with reconstituted fish? In the middle you can hardly see. They should be ashamed to serve such rubbish. So I ask for a refund and with no quibble they returned my money. We have eaten here before and this time the service was pedestrian. With the doors wide open it was a very fraught experience."
