"I'm sorry to say how disappointed with my visit today to the coffee nut. I order a chicken panni with mayonnaise. The chicken wasn't chicken breast or even roast chicken but one slice of a chicken slice that you buy in the local supermarket for packed lunches. I was served my panni on a white napkin on a white plate with a small serving of mayo in a white dish. No garnish, not a bit of lettuce or a cherry tomato to give the plate a bit of colour to at least make it look like I wanted to eat it. It tasted of cardboard and a waste of €6.00. I could of had gone in the subway just across the road but I choose to give my custome to a local business which I like to do but wish I hadn't in this case"

Had lunch of scones and coffee. Took the marble cake home it was so light. Nice courtyard garden. Recommend a visit.

Absolutely perfect! Delicious coffee and fruit-cake to fie for at a very modest price. Very friendly service. It may look plain snd simple but to me it looked just the right mind of place: and I was right. I thoroughly recommend it.

We had wonderful vegan scones, the kids had clotted cream scones. The soup was really tasty, as well as the vegan panini’s. The five of us and our dog had really tasty food here. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing and chatty lunch.

I’d never been to this coffee shop before and was very impressed. The lady serving was very busy, so told us that it might take a little longer, but I wasn’t aware of this. Had a cheese scone and my husband had a panini. Both yummy and a lovely atmosphere in this cafe.

I went here for lunch as it looked really nice and had a little garden which was perfect on the hot day I was there visiting. The service was great really friendly and the food and drink nice (ham and cheese panini with an iced coffee) but overpriced for what it was, hence the rating.

Best coffee on the island. I would (and have recommend it. Lovely feeling to the place and a pleasant courtyard at the back. Unfortunately I found it closed on 6 occasions. Finally found the opening hours on Facebook. Desperately needs the opening hours posted on the door! Not everyone has Facebook!

Popped in to buy two takeaway cakes. Really lovely lady served and although they had been wiped put off cake, they still had a couple of bits left. We had the peanut flapjack and banana cake. Both were delicious, very very good. Wish we could have stayed in to eat but had to go back to work, next time I will!

My wife, myself and two long-time friends, all in our sixties, had a bite to eat here and it was a lovely experience. The two staff members were cheerful and made sure that we had everything we needed. Food was good and reasonably priced, so just a nice lunch meal and we would pop in again if we were ever in the area.

Looks lovely from outside…. Nice friendly owners, but a cheese scone and a coffee were very disappointing. Scone was soggy and doughy and had no flavour at all. Coffee was made with full fat milk which was sickly and awful my own fault for not specifying but they didn't ask either. Worst of all, there are no toilets available! In a cafe!! You can ask permission to use a staff toilet and they will unlock it for you, but its just embarrassing. Shame, because it has huge potential.
