The Bridge Bakehouse

The sandwiches, brownies, and coffee were amazing. The restaurant is located in a charming village with a canal basin. I will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has a great location and the staff is friendly. The latte was delicious and the pasty was excellent. The only downside was that the pasty was a bit pricey; otherwise, I would have bought a few to keep in the freezer.

Discovered the Bridge Bakehouse earlier in the week, their food is to die for. Without a doubt, the best sandwich I've had in years. This coupled with friendly staff and excellent service makes it an absolutely five star eatery. Thank you, we'll be back View menu

A very special little cafe/bakehouse with a superb array of food and drink and many interesting clientele both canine and human. But their greatest asset is their team of professionals who exude abundant warmth, efficiency and friendliness. All in all, a treat not to be missed.

Received the wrong order, so raised this twice no response. Not even an acknowledgment or an apology. So ridiculously rude! Such a shame when businesses consider themselves above customer service. This used to be a lovely little place with a really down to earth feel. Sadly, the more popular they have become, the less they seem to care.

I visited The Bridge Bakehouse for the first time today. I usually go to the cafe by the traffic lights, but it was closed today. So, we decided to go to The Bridge Bakehouse instead. The food and drinks arrived within minutes and were hot and delicious. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning to The Bridge Bakehouse in the future. I would rate it 12/10. My husband and I were staying nearby on holiday. We originally popped in for a coffee but their selection of food was incredible. We ended up getting toasties, cakes and coffee. The staff were super friendly and had a good laugh and joke with us. The names of the sandwiches cracked us up. We enjoyed it so much we ended up visiting everyday and we were never let down. The full English inparticular was divine. Would recommend to anyone in the area to visit.

First and last visit on Saturday afternoon. Cafe was busy so expected a short wait but 20 mins for 3 milkshakes seriously. People ordering well after us all received hot drinks and hot food and waiting staff had plenty of time to stand around and chat to customers when bringing food out. A lady walked past us returning a few mins later with a tub of ice ream after about 10 mins but completely ignored us, found that quite rude. After 20mins we asked to cancel our order which the staff seemed shocked to hear. Apparently our drinks were actually ready but abandoned in the kitchen. Not really worth the wait so won't be returning.

I popped in here when passing through Whaley bridge as I was starving and fancied a cheese roll. The menu had loads of different in-house options for imaginative fillings, different types of bread etc. Unfortunately for me, all I fancied was a cheese bap (I am pregnant and suffering with various food aversions . The lady with whom I placed my order advised me that they only had a combination of cheddar and mozzarella to go in my roll, as they have this pre mixed for other things on the menu. I was hesitant but she told me i t was really nice so I ordered. I found the cheese was rubbery and a bit sickly.
