"We visited last night and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, with friendly staff, good beer, and lovely music. We stumbled upon this place by chance on Sunday while exploring charming villages after coming from London, and we’re so glad we did! We learned that there’s live music on Tuesdays, which we’re looking forward to. I can't wait for the weather to get nicer so we can enjoy sitting outside in the garden as well."

We had a wonderful evening by the log fire at this incredibly atmospheric traditional pub. The friendly locals made us feel welcome, and the service was excellent. The homemade food was delicious, and all at very reasonable prices. View menu

what a beautiful old place, with so much character and great hospitality. small but very expensive surface inside with the old fireplace for winter, and large outside seats. will be again for an evening meal and without doubt I will add the 5th star after it.
