"Wow, what a great find. The pub/restaurant is brilliant. Excellent food and service. Great menu and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly in the bar, with plenty of room between tables for our two large Labradors (there are only three tables so you need to book). I cannot praise the staff highly enough, they make you feel you are one of their regulars. The food is all home made (including the chips), fresh vegetables. It was so good we have been for a meal twice in a week. Well done to you all."

Nice pub, friendly staff, and have their own car park. 9 of us met and ate, and seemed satisfied with their meal, I had the homemade steak pie, very enjoyable

What a beautiful pub. Stunning gardens with the backdrop of relaxing birdsong. Good food with a wide selection of beers. Very pleasant staff. Be sure to visit the very interesting church opposite. View menu

6 of us, including a non-meat eater, had a great lunch in the new dining room. Everything was good, from drinks to desserts. The Star can always be relied upon for a good value high quality meal. Thanks very much.

Been in Puckeridge for the last 4 weeks. Looking after family home . Had a great time in the sun lovely atmosphere staff made me feel so welcome. Spent lunch times with Brenda food amazing. I off back north on Sunday. When I back down I'll certainly visit .looking forward to seeing you all.
