Excellent service , brilliant beer ,and the food we ordered could not be faulted ,will definitely be going back ,when we next in area .

I stopped for lunch and a pint. very welcome with very courteous employees. eating was very cheap and very tasty! would they visit again!

Walked from Bakewell via the Monsal Trail. Beautiful village pub with amazing food and great beer! Definitely worth a visit! Great service and such a warm welcome. Will be returning very soon!

the steak and unicorn cane is to die as they pack as much meat in a torte is incredible the beer is great and the youngs at the bar are second to not especially the red haired watte he is a capable for the pub. will be back soon!

We visited this pub on two separate occasions. Each time the staff were 1st class, very friendly, welcoming, efficient very professional. 1st class food beers. Spotlessly clean. Well worth visiting but be warned get there early as they get very busy. Definitely recommend...this pub

We visited this pub whilst staying locally and can honestly say the food was excellent. One of us has the burger which was delicious and the other had the vegan burger which was unreal. Onions rings were lovely, the side salad was so fresh and...the homemade coleslaw was excellent. We also shared the Bakewell pudding with cream which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Was visiting my son in congleton so we decided to visit Bakewell this pub was on our way back so I booked a table for four on a Saturday lunch would advise to book all four meals were delicious fish and chips pie...and chips sausage and mash and the lamb burger We also shared two starters between us BE WARNED they are big meals The bar staff were very helpful and polite Will definitely go back when in congleton again

I visited this pub on four occasions during my stay in the village. It was a relief to discover that there is still a traditional village pub which gives a warm and friendly welcome. Smiling happy staff who are eager to serve and please customers....The menu has mouthwatering meals which are cooked to order. The portions are very generous and served with garnish. Both lunch and dinner were fine dining experiences. Highly recommend it.
