"a very nice place for the summer days. besides the good quality good and th selection of drinks, as well as threw wonderful and quiet location near the train station in Nottingham there are a couple of dings that you have to see to detail. the entrance, despite a little narrow, it actually provides security of small thieves for the customers. there are many sheltered and shaded seating outside and there is even a small parking space at the hof. there are also enough protection off the coast. a unique feature is that the water of the canal enters the house and you have to cross an indoor bridge to get to the bar. it is a stunning function. the whole atmosphere is wonderful and I enjoyed every minute I spent there, the location that eat, the architecture to the features and the creativity of the designers."

here it really cost. managed to sit outside in the sunshine. had only skin and afteros loaded, but enjoyed both. over the channel and two boats to get to the bar, it made a bit like a game of tomb raider. see them pictures.

This is a lovely pub with an intriguing history related to the canal and boats! They have an excellent selection of beers, and the boxed ciders are great as well. We enjoyed sitting outside by the water, where the canopy was beautifully lit throughout the night. The atmosphere was fantastic! View menu

Fabulous old warehouse of when the canal was at its heyday of commercial carrying. It still has two narrow boats moored within. Good range of beers although some rather expensive. Ladies and gents in second and third floors I was unaware of a disabled one. Dogs are welcome. Certainly worth a vist

I just jumped in here for a quick pint after work, so I can't comment on eating. the canalhouse had a fantastic selection of beer, to choose too many. I was very tempted by one of the stouts offered that were 11.5%, but at that time it was too early to try that! the barstaff was friendly and also knew the beer. I was really surprised to see that they still have canal boats in the building, which was really impressive.

Lunch today Such a lovely pub and setting on a beautiful sunny day. We had a little bite to eat sat outside in the sunshine. 6oz Beef Burger £10.95 +50p for Onion Rings The chips were nice, burger and Bun not so. Chicken and Bacon Salad £9.95 Very dry salad leaves not enough dressing, had to ask for more. On the specials board was Crispy Calamari and Cheese Bites £5.95 The staff were very friendly and helpful. We don't like to be negative but the food was disappointing. It's not a Gastro Pub. The outdoor seating is plentiful, providing ample shelter and shade, and there's even a small parking area in the front yard. Additionally, the venue offers sufficient protection from the waterfront. A standout feature is how the canal water flows into the building, requiring guests to cross an indoor bridge to reach the bar—it's a truly breathtaking element. Overall, the atmosphere is delightful, and I relished every moment spent there—the location, the food, the stunning architecture, and the creative design elements all contribute to a fantastic experience.

canalhouse has a beautiful atmosphere for evening drinks or during the day. outside they have many tables if they want to relax in the sun and see the channel passing. the inner is interesting and cool as they go over a small bridge or go to the water (50 steps extra maybe? The beer selection is wide, much on the tap and fair amount of unusual drinks when they feel adventurous. when it hits 9 o'clock, the publikum disappears as if they want to drink a quiet and chic area, that is their cup tee. that was Saturday, so I can speak for other days. only the reason why there was a 4 stars, the kitchen was not for the publicity on the day and I hoped to eat at the place.
