Wow wow my son and myself dined here and it was amazing. The surroundings and decor are amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and as for the food I could not fault it at all. Will defo be back just loved it

What a great restaurant. Not only was the decor so atmospheric but the food, service and overall experience was first class. The wine glasses might have been expensive but nice to see the wine itself fairly priced. We will be back View menu

Took advantage of the ‘eat out to help out’ discount and did not need to book. Opted for the bar menu as a family of 4 and was seated promptly. Menus provided and our drinks order taken. Good selection for bar food and the food is restaurant quality. Large portions, each meal presented ted beautifully and full of colour. Waiting staff were all friendly, and the plates were cleared in a timely manner.Calling the cuisine ‘bar food’ really doesn’t do the Cheeky Fox any justice, superb and the food is superb, restaurant quality. Lovely venue.

Disappointed. Tables too close together and too busy given Covid situation. Terrible table service. No restaurant manager to organise the very busy waiting staff. Waitress only returned to table to clear it. Had to ask for glasses to be removed so that we had room for our food. No trays used to bring drinks to the table. Food was ok. Pricey £7.50 for two prawns!!!! Sea bream was excellent. Steak poor, didn’t seem to have been rested. 3 small pieces of cheese on a cheese board. Cocktails were excellent however. Just very disappointed with the whole experience.

We booked a Friday night with friends as we've done many Friday nights before. With it being December they asked for a deposit. We paid £60 on the night 4 people went. A lot of people talk about The Cheeky Fox being overpriced already so when only 4 of us could attend and they refused to take the other £20 off we decided we wouldn't be back.The food was good but at one point I had to ask for a knife and folk I also had to ask for a new bill and remind them of the paid deposit. The waitress dealing with is was lovely and I felt the manager was a bit of a coward as he sent one of the girls to tell us they wouldn't be taken the full £60 off. Having read the many positive reviews about this restaurant, my family and I decided to give it a go and we booked a table.This is the first time that I have ever wrote a review, but in this instance I felt I needed to. It was VERY disappointing. If you’re considering booking this restaurant as a large group, think again.Our experience from the Sunday lunch was that, the restaurant is missing a restaurant manager, and there are way too many staff not being coordinated. We had a booking if 16 people, our starters came out without an issue. The main course then came out.
