"My partner and I saw this pub en route to a campsite we were staying at. Decided to see if they had a spare table for 2 for a Sunday Roast. They were able to oblige and we chose starters of whitebait /creamy garlic mushrooms followed by Roast Beef/Roast Pork. It was one of the best Roast lunches I've ever had. It was so fresh and tasty. No frozen veg!! The beer was also good and the landlord friendly. We would definitely visit again when we're in the area."

My partner and I moved to the village a year ago and eat/drink here usually once a week. The staff and management are excellent, and we love the Sicilian chefs pizzas. Excellent value and much nicer range than any pizza delivery place. And they let you order to go, what's not to love?
