"This is my second visit to this restaurant. I love the ambiance and focus on provenance of the fish, although they don’t really highlight this in any way in the restaurant. The fish was of good quality. The superfood side salad however was almost all quinoa and no vegetables! Two of the specials were not available. The salt cod and quail’s egg scotch egg starter was lovely but pricey for one little egg at £5. Service was a let down. We ordered water which had to be chased. The first mint tea arrived with no issues but when a second was ordered for my companion, waiter just brought an extra cup and poured out another from the first pot! Waiter also got our food order wrong battered fish instead of grilled which was sent back followed by a long wait for the correct dish to be delivered. Staff was in general inattentive despite an empty restaurant. Can certainly do a lot better!"
