"This is a very pleasant traditional style tea room with tables, table cloths, nice china, and attractive wooden chairs. The menu looked interesting with Steak and Guinness Pie, Homemade Cottage Pie, etc. We were only looking for a snack lunch so had toasties. We were offered a choice of white, brown or granary bread, and the dish came with a salad and crisps. Very enjoyable indeed simple but good food, well presented and tasty. The coffee was good too . If you can get the seat which is essentially in the window, it gives a nice view of Bridge Street. When we were in the cafe there were parties of school children with shields led Roman soldiers going up and down the street."

Been twice and it's well priced for a coffee and a sandwich. Enjoyed our lunches here both times. Friendly staff

We stopped at this cafe for our lunch. My husband had cottage pie, and I had the best ploughman’s lunch in long time.

Popped in with the family for a bite to eat. The cafe has a lovely cosy atmosphere with a quaint decor. Staff were friendly and good was really good value for money. Would come back.

Had a tuna sandwich which was lovely but the tomato and basil soup was horrible it was brown and had an overpowering bitter taste to it. The service was great though and i like the decor.

We had an hour and a half to kill on the way to Llandudno in North Wales and popped in here for a cuppa. It's a nice little place with plenty of choice, ample seating and toilets at the back also central to the city centre and close to the castle walls and river Dee.

Lovely Tea Rooms plenty of room and lovely waitress nothing was too much trouble. The Welsh Rarebit was so lovely and rich and good portions, . We ordered a tomato soup to share as a starter and the lovely waitress served us a bowl each..Thank you much appreciated on a cold day!!!

We visited the Coffee Mill after the Xmas markets on a Sunday and both chose the steak pie with mash, peas and gravy. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent. We managed to sit in the window seat too which was a bonus as it was seeing another couple sitting there a few weeks earlier that had caught our eye and put it on our list of places to try. Highly recommended and very good value.

Called in here wanting a full English breakfast. I had a small my partner a large. The bacon seemed like it had been pre cooked and warmed up it was hard. The beans again were like they'd been under a hot plate or something because they were dry. Our toast was burnt on 1 side and we didn't complain because we were hungry and had been looking around for a while. with 2 coffees and 1 juice the cost was 23 pounds. I'd think again before coming here.
