"Have visited several times and were impressed by the friendly and efficient staff, menu choice and excellent food. Always popular, so literally. Good location on the outskirts of Exeter, not far from the airport and at the edge of the new expansive Cranbrook property/city, with easy access from A30/M5 and many parking spaces (plus a quirky self-service milk bar in the parking lot). More oriented towards a restaurant than a local, but still a good choice just for a drink. Although it was built about 5 years ago, it creates the charm of a traditional English country pub, but less cramped. Very family-friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome."

Really good experience on a Thursday evening. Teresa looked after us really well and the food was way better than we thought it would be. A little pricey on drinks, but overall a great atmosphere with decor/music.

Had a great night here (after a wedding yesterday) with delicious food, great service and friendly staff. Especially thanks to Sophie to help us with a surprise cake for bride and groom. She went beyond and beyond to help me! There was a lot of me and she was just so helpful, friendly and patient. Thank you very much! You are a star!

A really friendly place, we are always welcome and the service is exceptional. A wide range of Ales and wines, bar staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. Many choices on the menu and their Sunday roast are always a popular, waiting staff make us always welcome. The atmosphere and decor is really relaxing and we always have a wonderful time when we visit beautiful to find a place that we can also take our dog.

visit them here friends and this is his local pub/restaurant. visited here twice, on Friday night only for drinks and Saturday night for eating. not much choice on the menu, so ordered steak. it found that the steak was a flat iron steak and it was certainly not, it was quite a thick steak, but tasty enough. the staff was nice and friendly and the pub had a nice feeling. there was also a beautiful outside area.

visited the cranberry farm tonight with my friend and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the venue, service and eating. our server teresa was super friendly and welcoming, the other waitresses whose names I didn't catch were just as polite and all seemed happy at the work that is always beautiful to see! we had a starter and head and both were incredible. I recommend definitiw the cast roll starter. the restaurant atmosphere is quiet and warm with beautiful rustic decor. could not recommend enough we will definitely return! many thanks to the chefs and the team the cranberry farm

An absolute delight. First time in Exeter visiting some friends, they took us to this amazing pub, although it's not as old as it may seem they've done an incredible job creating a tavern like atmosphere with beautiful wooden beams and stone slab flooring, really great pub, not sure how the price compares to others in the area, I imagine about the same but compared to the north it was **** expensive! Food was delicious though and Thursday nights the burgers were £10 so a discount on certain days is always a bonus. Also for those with a dog, they're a dog friendly pub with water bowls and treats which was really nice.
