"So I wouldn’t normally give 5 stars to a pub or bar unless there is a very wide selection of craft beers/ales as that’s my preference to where I drink. Therefore I should be giving 4 stars as to be consistent. However, the service was fantastic! They made me feel like a local, the food was lovely and I really want to go back. It is a bit of a distance for me to travel for a pub lunch but I recon it’s worth it. Worth a visit on the friendliness of the staff alone, food can always be a subjective topic but going on my lunch it was wonderful."

The best pub food I've ever had! I really enjoyed the pesto and speck-wrapped dish, and the burger and fries were excellent.

perfect location, with a beautiful terraced garden with plenty of shade leading down to a stream below. decent beer. have not yet tried to eat, but the menu looks really good.

I highly recommend this place! The food is top-notch, and the traditional pub atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are excellent and take great care of you. I give it a perfect 10/10!

Since the new owners took over, the pub has been beautifully renovated while still keeping its charm. The food was outstanding, though it came with a corresponding price. The menu changes daily, showcasing freshly prepared dishes. I hope the prices won't deter too many people from coming back for regular visits.

I visited this restaurant yesterday, and it's always my first choice because of its unique atmosphere. The owner is an absolute legend—a genuinely decent guy who goes above and beyond to help everyone. He always makes us feel welcomed, which I truly appreciate. I always make sure that my experience here is top-notch. We’ve addressed and resolved all the issues we encountered during our last visit, and everything was great this time around.
