A lovely hotel. About 20minutes walk from the centre although taxis are available and worth using. Rooms are spacious with all usual amenities. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Certainly recommend.

beautiful place for afternoon. we could sit outside, which was a bonus. foods were abundant and additional items, if necessary added. the personal was attentive and welcoming, would recommend for the afternoon.

beautiful boutique hotel with friendly, efficient staff. beautiful room and bathroom, although a little over furnished for the size. combine large bed and very nice restaurant. a small walk from the city center, uphill.

This is a wonderful place for afternoon tea. We were lucky enough to get a seat outside, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was abundant and they were happy to bring extra items if needed. The staff were attentive and friendly, I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely afternoon tea experience.

Came here for a wedding which was superbly organised. Great venue with a wonderful suntrap outside terrace. The rooms were extremely well equipped all be it small if you have the classic double. Slow breakfast service and lack of staff was a small issue, however that seems to be everywhere at the moment, so not really the fault of the hotel. Overall I was very pleased.

We made a reservation at this restaurant based on other reviews, but upon arrival, they had no record of our booking. Despite the lack of customers, we decided to stay. The restaurant offered a set 3-course menu for £45 or a limited a la carte menu. We found the dishes on the a la carte menu unappealing and opted for the set menu instead. The scallops with tomato salsa and lemon oil lacked flavor and the salsa was strange and bitter. The rack of lamb was undercooked and the vegetables were also not cooked to our liking. However, the desserts were enjoyable, especially the chocolate sphere with a rich sauce and honeycomb. Overall, the experience was disappointing in terms of both food quality...

fantastic 3 nights in the harbour view apartment adjacent to the duke of richmond hotel. the apartment was fantastic: even with its own entrance door from the street, it included the floor and the first floor of a converted city house (there is also garden apartment underneath). two large and comfortable bedrooms with large en suite bathroom upstairs, and a good living room, separate dining room, well equipped kitchen and garderobe wc in the ground floor. it looks recently renovated, I would say in the last 2 years, beautifully designed and well finished. perfect space and facilities for a family of 4 or two pairs. the hotel itself has been closed for renovation so that we do not use any of...
