"What a lovely breakfast. The wife treated me to a champagne breakfast as part of my birthday celebrations. The food was superb, great portions too. The waiting staff were superb and I think it must have been the manager/supervisor who was wonderful and in chatting she found out it was my birthday and decided to do something special for me which you can see in the pictures provided. Fantastic morning, we'll be back for sure."

beautiful pub on the canal/flow. visits to the breakfast meeting. eating was very tasty and well presented and service was excellent. the trade seemed quite buyant for a cold january day. want to visit them again in summer and watch how the boats and the world pass.

Last night. we eat here a lot and eating is always great, but yesterday evening it was incredible! it could not simply be the best place to eat in derbyshire and the service was fantastic, especially considering how busy it was. by the way, I recommend the black one. nom nom :

we asked for a drink on Sunday afternoon and were soon seduced by the pretty looking tellers of food we saw they passed by us. large ham stall terrine for appetizers, carvery platter for pornstars, and a tasteful chocolate thing for dessert. all have washed out with a few glasses wein! friendly atmosphere, efficient staff, good menu.
