Cute popular brunch place at lockbottom . Bit crowded but it has good food and superb space

Had an amazing afternoon tea at The Drawing Room. Better than any I've had in London. Sandwiches, Scones and Cakes all freshly made and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

First visit. Didn 't want the Costa experience so I thought I 'd try this place opposite. Enjoyed a nice breakfast and a cup of coffee. The staff couldn 't be friendlier. I 'll be back ! View menu

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the coffee was great, and the restaurant was spotless with beautiful decor. The highlight was the stunning china used, making it feel like a truly special dining experience.

Such a lovely spot been a few times when in the area for work and me and my colleague love It. Super friendly service and such fresh ingredients will visit whenever in the area. Highly recommend for a nice brunch lunch spot loads of choice too.

Have visited many times over the years and its the best old fashioned style tea shop anywhere near here: Its so nice drinking out of bone china cups and always wondering what teapot your tea will come in this time. I have had various breakfast, lunches and cakes at different times and it has all been good and definitely somewhere I to suggest to others. A friend coming over from Surrey fancied an afternoon tea to help me celebrate my birthday. There was no hesitation in choosing the best afternoon tea this side of the Thames. I booked; we came; we ate boy, did we eat! Fantastic fresh produce neat varied sandwiches; warm fresh scones; home made cake. (I can recommend the plum cake in particular. Of course we needed a doggie bag and an afternoon nap! Brilliant. Thank you for making this a special occasion

I’ve been to the Drawing Room on many occasions, and a I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and well presented and just that bit different from other places. Tea is served in quirky teapots, I’ve never had the same one twice! I highly recommend a visit, as you always get that personal touch. It’s quite a small café, so it is often full,but I think that if it were bigger it wouldn’t be the personal and original place that it is now. Oh, and last but not least, the cakes are amazing! Generous portions, and not the same old choice as everywhere else.

Food is always well executed. The prices are the best prices compared with all the other similar establishments in the area, everything is fresh and made to order obviously not the cakes). Talking of cake, always a wonderful selection and so so gooooood if you have a sweet tooth and a hefty portion. Service is polite, friendly and with a smile. They bend over backwards to fit you in, if they are really busy, which is very often. Afternoon tea is a real treat, but you need to pre book, which is fine. Tastefully and interestingly decorated.
