"What a great spot for a typical English pub meal. All the usual offerings done outstandingly. Nicest pie I've ever had (and I'm a great pie fan), went again a second night it was so good and ordered the fish and chips, another classic. Wonderful crisp batter but not oily crisp, fluffy chips. Clearly they have a great kitchen. Pie had this amazing side of greens which seemed to be a combo of kale, cavalo nero and beans or snap peas done in a light butter, just delicious! Good staff, efficient and professional but also casual and chatty. Great atmosphere too, without the (oft off-putting) ubiquitous TV showing footy or loud music."

Curt and over worked staff. Basic food. Minimal vegetarian options most had been sold out on day of our meal. Staff hovered over me so quickly chose. Burrato salad was tasteless. Chicken pie was acceptable, but the dry mash and wet cabbage was not .

We have been to the Fleece many, many times as a couple for just drinks and meals, as a family for a meal or two, and had a couple of big celebratory family meals in their private dining rooms. You can't beat the service it's superb, the drinks menu is vast and good, and the food is lovely. The place is very attractive with a lovely Cotswold vibe and has a fab atmosphere. It's our go-to place. View menu

Stayed for 4 nights absolutely excellent service on arrival checked in easy as was expected late. Staff very friendly and bar staff 1st class. We had early breakfast for three days as we went to an event to go to and everything was perfect our last day on checking out totally different. Young waitress was rude and I would say pissed off because we hand come done later and she had to set a table for us dirty looks all through breakfast Shame as I would have gave 5 Star but I would recommend

As we had our dog with us, we were only able to eat in the bar area. The first time we tried to have lunch there was a waiting time of an hour for the bar area so we decided to book a table for the following day. This time there was no wait, we were showed quickly to our table and our drinks were served without delay. There was a good choice on the menu and my wife's Gluten Free diet did not cause any problems. Our food was well presented and tasted very good (I can certainly recommend the Steak Bavette on the lunch menu). Good value for money and can certainly recommend.C

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari β€˜Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
