The Forge Kitchen - Menu

My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch in an afternoon and were absolutely impressed. He had a beef burger with sweet potatoes and I had the chicken burger with fries. We also shared some wings. Soooo good!

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. The place look so amazing and stylish! The staff is really friendly and helpful. Haven’t done any photos of food as been too good to wait! Definitely would recommend you won’t be disappointed as it’s not only about food but also experience.

The Forge Kitchen has a modern, industrial and cool style interior. The staff are friendly, chatty and attentive. The food is wonderful, a little expensive. I had a burger, fries and spicy slaw. I didn't have a cocktail but the ones I saw go to the table next to me looked amazing!

We were lucky to get a table without reservation on Saturday night. There were 4 of us and we all had something else to eat. It was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed all our delicious dishes. Fast service and nice staff. Unique atmosphere. Brilliant Vibes. The food loved the surroundings.

The lunch was pretty good but I come from Des Moines which is like ground zero for the best burgers ever so my standards are really high. If you haven't had a tremendous burger from Iowa then this place would probably slap. But for me, personally, it was a four. But it looked good. The chips on the other hand were A+ crunchy and fluffy. Perfect.

We visited the forge kitchen in July, had the absolute best experience, the food was so good we ate there twice in one weekend. We have talked about going back since, and tonight was that night. There are no words to explain how amazing Daniel is, every time we have visited he has gone above and beyond!! The environment is fun, food is good, and the service is even better! We will definitely return again and again!

Me and my partner had a fantastic experience here. The servers went out of their way to get us fantastic seats. The food was divine, especially at the price point! The cocktails were brilliant; served with dry ice to create a smokey show. I would 100% recommend everyone tries this absolute jem of a restaurant at least once. I will definitely be returning and would personally rate it as one of, if not the best restaurant in Ipswich!

Second time dining here and it was as good, if not better, than the first time! Everything from the atmosphere to the staff, food to drinks is spot on. We tend to go for a smorgasbord of different plates as there is so much on offer but the highlights are those in the picture: burnt beef ends, charred iceberg, loaded fries and onion rings. Added the ham tacos this time and they were epic. Special mention needed for the mac and cheese which is the best. Now, there are some fancy and intriguing drinks on the menu but these gingerbread espresso martinis were a perfect liquid dessert to end the night on. Definitely going back and definitely ordering more of what we love and maybe a couple of new...

Should this review have left months ago (sorry! ... We have set the whole place for the day for our wedding reception (120 guests last October. Grant, Kieran and the team were unable to meet. The sheer effort, communication, coming with special elements on the menu, organizing timings etc. was simply impeccable. They made us feel that nothing was bothered, offer excellent value for money and so many people commented on the unique and beautiful place and delicious food. Grant seemed to get us, and we didn't ask for more. Through his industry experience, he gave reasonable advice and worked with us to create a safe environment through Covid.
