I opted for the scampi, which had a good presentation and a generous portion size, although it was a bit too crunchy for my liking. Unfortunately, the chips were inedible, tasting as though they had been reheated in low-quality oil. It became evident that no one else in the pub was eating, which should have been a red flag for us."
