"The restaurant was fantastic overall, but the portion size of the tomahawk pork steak was smaller than expected. Parking can be a bit challenging, but there are spaces available. The cost per person is typically between £40-50. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5. Recommended dishes include Salt 'N ' Pepper Calamari Aioli, Roast Pork, and Chargrilled Pork Tomahawk Steak with Garlic Roasties and Salsa Verde Rocket Salad. Finding a parking space can be a bit tricky, but there is a free parking lot available."

"A lovely pub in a very quiet village. There is nothing else to do around here apart from driving to somewhere you 've planned to go to. Which is great as there are loads of places in the locality. The pub itself is worth a visit and definitely it 's better staying in the rooms as the roads around are nice old country roads . The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices, and the English breakfast was a great start to the that days exploring. Would I stay here again? Definitely! (But, as a warning, just watch out for those old spiral stairs if you 're staying there the night! We were in the Wychwood room that is only only flight up, and there was another room above us."

"This pub is features early on in Dog-friendly pub-walks: Cotswolds —for a good reason I 'd say. The forest/field walk around it was diverse, lovely and only slightly muddy. The pub had a good wine selection and the food was exquisite, especially their crunchy chips. The manager allowed us to place our order a bit after the two pm cutoff so that was great bonus! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Wagyu Burger"

"Lovely pub and atmosphere/ambience. Very dog friendly. Nice views from the back and a place to stretch the dogs legs. Friendly young waitress. We enjoyed our food (my mussels and the desserts especially however be aware the menu online isn’t the same as the menu in the restaurant. While it does say online ‘sample menu’ I feel it would be easy enough to update it, or at the very least publish the current menu on Facebook. It would have been a huge issue had our daughter/my mother been with us. As it was just myself and husband, it was a slight issue. I do have a query which hopefully they will address on the menu. He ordered the lamb koftas (only thing he fancied when given the current menu, as opposed to the couple things he fancied on the online sample menu . They are served with like a cold tomato salad. He said he thought it was ok, would have preferred rice or fries, but when we asked for the menus for dessert I noticed there was a V and VG sign next to the dish which we hadn’t noticed before. This usually indicates it’s not real meat therefore vegans can order it. The fact it was served solely with salad now has me thinking it was vegan. However as there was no description of it being not real meat on the menu we were quite confused. He was a bit annoyed as we are passionate meat eaters and very anti-vegan, so it was an issue potentially to have fake meat, and at £24. I wanted to mention something at the time, he didn’t. I would still recommend, but please can the horse and radish clarify on their current menu for future customers what exactly the lamb koftas are made from or if they are indeed V or VG, and ensure your website/Facebook page is updated with correct menus going forwards."
