"Been several times now and enjoyed a warm welcome and good food. If I had to be critical the puds were not to my liking but I accept that’s purely a personal choice and not a criticism of the quality. The very discerning in-laws also...rate this pub and they get around most pubs and restaurants in the area (from bog standard grub pubs to gastro pubs and restaurants). Love the owner’s wandering dog too loves to say hello but please don’t feed it as they are trying to keep its weight down . If passing do try it out, although we’ve discovered it early booking is advised. Really pleased that this place is doing well well done to those in charge."

Wonderful experience at The Lamb. I was delighted at the variety of vegetarian options very unusual to get a choice and not a mushroom risotto in sight. My husband was also very happy with his flat iron steak. Great meal, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff...and Molly the dog asleep on my foot. Perfect evening!

The food and service at the Lamb is always of a high standard. We had a delightful meal last night and look forward to our next visit. It’s a busy pub with a warm atmosphere, the staff are very attentive and deciding what to eat...is so difficult as the menu is packed with exciting seasonal dishes. Great job guys!!!

we booked the lamb inn for dinner by minster lovell on the day before on the ground. what a sound. the service and eating are excellent and they can see why it is busy. we were accommodated as a party of five in the chick. the cheese soufflé to begin is wonderful. we were all very satisfied with our main courses (venison, steak, chicken milanese, fish) and the desert wonderful. the service was friendly and attentive, especially as the pub was full and the people arrived again and again. very recommended and will return when we are close.

This wasn’t my first trip to the Lamb and I sure hope it won’t be my last. The food is simply exceptional and in my opinion, quite rare to come by in terms of quality. All the options on the menu are outstanding I...haven’t felt that giddy and excited in front of a menu for a long time!! They’ve got the atmosphere and decor completely spot on, reflective of the gorgeous countryside on its doorstep. The staff were so friendly and attentive, constantly smiling and making sure we were well looked after! Thank you for such a fantastic time Lamb team!
