"The menu is small but well-curated, featuring mostly locally sourced ingredients. We started with fresh seafood, and for the main course, we enjoyed generously sized sea bream that was cooked to perfection, as well as beautifully prepared duck. The desserts were light and delightful, and the coffee was excellent. The wine selection was impressive as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, making for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will definitely return to the French Pantry. Well done!"

this is an exceptional restaurant in the heart of ludlow. the offer of food is very good and the taste is fabulous. really rewarding to look outside. I had lunch there a few years ago and last week had dinner. they need to book in advance. the team is great, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. eating is incredible. very well created and delivered. I had a delightful dinner a couple of weeks ago on a weekend in Ludlow. It's rare for us to enjoy a meal that is as wonderfully delicious as the one we had here. The restaurant was quite lovely, featuring soft music and charming French-style decor that enhanced the atmosphere. It all contributed to a beautiful and romantic evening. I highly recommend it!

Totally amazing food and wine. Myself and my french lady visited and had a fantastic Italian red with a starter of melted cheese with crusty bread followed by the confit of duck and puree. Very friendly service and about half what it would have cost us in London. We didn't have desserts as the starter and main filled us up....next time. 6 stars if it were possible.

The French pantry has recently changed hands, it's been completely redecorated and has a lovely feel to it while retaining the French ambiance. We stopped in for breakfast and has Waffles with morello cherries and cream, croissant with ham and cheese, and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. They were all excellent!
