"We stumbled upon this charming and unique café near the market square and decided to stop in for a late afternoon cup of tea and a snack. Seated at the front of the restaurant, we were attended to by a couple of elderly individuals whom we presumed to be the owners. Two of us opted for the Evesham cream tea, which proved to be a bit odd. The scones appeared to be on the stale side and crumbled easily when cut into. However, when piled with whipped cream and strawberry jam, they were still enjoyable. The tea was served in unappealing stainless steel pots that tended to drip when poured - a stark contrast to the lovely decorative tea pots on display throughout the establishment. Before leaving, I ventured up a steep set of stairs to the restroom on the first floor, which was passable but not easily accessible for elderly patrons. Overall, our experience was a bit peculiar, as noted by other reviewers, almost like stepping back in time."

secluded coffee and tea rooms between market square and abbey park. the service was fast and the food (pastie and speck bap) very tasty. much more nice to visit than a chain coffee shop.

Good food made fresh. Had a tuna sandwich and ham sandwich both good quality and a very generous serving of fruit pie which was top notch home cooking style. Proud to support this small local business

I have visited this café a few times this year and I love its old-world charm. The menu offers a good selection of food at great prices. It's a lovely spot to stop and enjoy a light refreshment. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash payments, not cards.

beautiful old building, stunning mini-life like kathedrale put in the wall and illuminated, a beautiful puppenhaus in a glass cabinet and a huge collection of teapots to see while they eat there, amazing food! general portions, amazing taste, can also highly recommend their hot chocolate! beautiful couples, who were running back the building, we had going back several times

Local café for local people. Like a time capsule of mmmm 1960 's menu and service. Think wow filter coffee is a great idea isn 't it. Decor and service has not moved on, and service was on the grumpy, what! You want more salad than 2 slice tomatoe and two slices of cucumber with your baked potato who would of thought of lettuce with that meal option. And then cash only payment. I suppose bad but good just for the trip back in time.
