"This small double room is cramped and not suitable for those with claustrophobia. The carpet has stains hidden by a mat, there are cobwebs on the ceiling, and the fan in the en-suite is noisy. An air conditioning unit outside the window creates more noise at night, forcing it to remain shut. Be cautious of the fish hooks on the curtains, as they are sharp and dangerous. The only positive was the breakfast, which was accommodating to dietary choices. However, the accommodation does not match the ideal location for visiting Dorset. It felt as though our needs were forgotten, as we were denied a bath upon check-in despite requesting it at booking. Avoid staying in room 4 as it is in need of renovation. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again."

I booked here for my Husbands birthday lunch with our family after much research and we were not disappointed! Very friendly pub, nothing too much trouble and a Chef that can clearly cook a good Steak! Washed down with a very nice bottle of Malbec. Thank you to all the staff for making it such an enjoyable lunchtime.

What a friendly pub! We had driven for hours in awful torrential rain and stopped here by chance just to drink and rest for a while. The lady managing the pub was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We had drinks and snacks she made a great Espresso Martini that was much needed to wake me up and the chips were fab. Would love to return one day to try the gorgeous garden area and say hello again.

We reserved The Greyhound for a 40th birthday party and they were absolutely amazing. They served pizzas from their wood-fired pizza oven and offered great vegetarian and vegan options that everyone raved about, even the carnivores. The staff were all excellent, friendly, and welcoming to the guests. If you're considering hosting a function or party, I highly recommend booking at The Greyhound!

"The Museum Inn, located in Farnham, Nr. Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 8DE We booked late on Friday night and only one room was available so it was meant to be! We arrived around 5pm and were greeted by friendly staff, shown to our room The Catch and made a reservation for dinner, luckily they still had spaces for dinner but it is advised to book in advance. Lovely spacious room and bathroom, kettle, teas, coffees and bottled water supplied. I have to say I fell in love with the hand wash and hand cream, I have already purchased some for home, the brand is called Bramley and the scent is Lavender, Geranium and Petitgrain. The bed is probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in that is not our own, soft feather pillows that were just right! Dinner was a three course meal and it was delicious, we took 2 hours to eat but never felt rushed or like we were waiting too long between courses. Starters: Ham hock terrine with sourdough toast and Prawn, potato and crayfish fishcakes. Mains: Burger and Steak Ale pie Desserts: Chocolate Brownie with cherry sorbet. Biscoff donuts with pumpkin pie ice cream Drinks: Poretti lager and Cherry cocktail. Breakfast: Eggs Royale and Smashed avocado, poached egg and bacon, absolutely scrumilicious! Big thanks to Amanda who served us this morning and checked us out. Highly recommend staying and eating here and we will 100% be back again! Safe travels! The Allsebrooks x"
