"5 of us visited tonight on recommendation from one of our group who lives locally. Lots to choose from on the menu. In fact it’s a nightmare choosing what to get. Food has a proper home cooked feel about and great portions. Every one of us was really impressed. I was very pleasantly surprised when checking the bill for 5 meals and 5 drinks. party of 3 I had steak and ale cake baked was a bit hard, but delicious chips were beautiful. gammon was ok little hard rest of the meal perfect. vegan burger was good friendly staff. efficient service they were very busy. excellent value for money. in any case be back.
