Booked ahead for a Sunday lunch, was not disappointed! Excellent roast! Plenty of food served hot and with a pleasant welcome. Definitely would recommend.

A hidden g if a pub that probably hasn’t changed in 30 years. If you are looking for good beer, great food and down to earth brilliant service this is the one for you! Loved it.

Came here with my mam, brother nephew for Sunday lunch. A lovely family run traditional pub/restaurant. Staff were lovely k so friendly made time for us food was beautiful. Wil definitely return.

What a gem. The good was excellent. It was by far the best meal we have had during our stay in Northumberland. We have booked again for tuesday evening next week and cant wait. Our only problem is what to choose. Yhe range of quality food, at an affordable price is second to none. Brilliant

EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY SERVICE AND OUTSTANDING MEAL!!!!! WILL BE GOING THERE AGAIN. We visit north Northumberland a lot of times during the year and we are always assured of a great welcome when we take friends and family there. Mark and Louise are the owners of the property and going to the Horseshoes Rennington is a home from home!

We visited the Horseshoe Inn for food after reading great reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and had good knowledge of what was gluten free on the menu which was very reassuring. Our food was beautifully presented, generous portions and was delicious. Don’t miss visiting this lovely traditional pub if you are in the area, but book first to avoid disappointment!

Had lunch twice and also dinner with family whilst visiting the area and each time the food, drinks and service were first rate. Plenty of choice, well cooked, tasty local food served in generous portions by the lovley Louise, Mark ans the team. This small local inn is set in the centre of the village with a small but tidy garden for when the weather is fine and you might want to eat out side (or just take a beer or two). We never fail to enjoy our visits here and will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

A traditional, even slightly old fashioned pub in an attractive village. Staff were very friendly. We were really pleased with the food. Like the pub this is fairly traditional for the most part; although prices may have caught up with other places there was something pleasingly nostalgic about the portions and quality which made you feel well looked-after and mean it remains decent value. It also seemed to be properly home-cooked and arrived piping hot at the same time (a basic thing but which often goes wrong).

Last night of our week inNorthumberland and decided on a meal here which was close to where we were staying. Book a table in advance (recommended) and we’re warmly greeted on arrival. I opted for the seafood platter and my daughter had the sizzling chicken. Both meals were excellent and quickly served considering they are cooked to order. Service was warm and friendly and the Mai ns were followed by Baileys cheesecake and lemon posset. If you are looking for a good meal at great value for money, then this is the place. Next time we are I. The area, we will be back. Well done
