"I have been here for a week and the staff (Guy Dave) are brilliant always a warm welcome and you are greeted with a smile. The rooms are so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of bed. The bar staff (Sophie Z) are warm. friendly and always have a smile on there face, the Chef (Gray) doesn’t just cook the best food I have had but he will come out the kitchen himself and speak to the people who are eating his food (All freshly prepared) and ask you “ Are you enjoying your meal is there anything I can do” second to none. If you stay within 25 mile radius of Bicester this is the place to stay. The building itself is an 800 year old stone building but this does not stop you having all the mod cons of WiFi but it is coupled with the quaint old English architecture of a breath taking building 5 stars if there was 6 this place would get it. A must stay for a weekend break or better still make this the place your second home."

After a long drive, we requested breakfast to be served in our room. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We would definitely love to return again.

The Jersey Arms is a hidden gem that is perfect and charming for a quick getaway. The rooms are lovely and the hospitality is fantastic. It has recently reopened and is definitely worth checking out.

The actual appearance of the restaurant did not match the pictures. The cleanliness was lacking, with a musty and damp smell in the room. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant and would not choose to dine here again.

It was closed so I can't say anything positive but I can say it made me very cross to have to park my car in the carpark walk across a busy road and through the reception door only to be told by a very unpleasant young man that the pub was closed. They could have made it clearer outside so travellers would not be inconvenienced as I was. View menu

the eating here was top class, both breakfast dinner was freshly cooked, I enjoyed every last bit, rooms are set back from the street so that a good night sleep is guaranteed. really nice place, both bar/lounge restaurant had a lot of character, the rooms have everything they need, good pressure in the shower, ironing board. the wlan was also very good. will definitely stay here again.

We had a comfortable stay, room was very decent in size, warm water with very good water pressure in the shower, friendly staff, ample parking space, comfortable bed and beddings. We had issues with mobile internet and wifi connectivity in the room, the separate hot and cold water taps in the sink, although classic and charming to look at isn't really helpful, a mixer tap should be the norm. Bathroom indeed looked tired. Other than that, decor is cool, road noise is barely noticeable in the room. I am happy to sleep here again.

this was a really good place to stay, a very spacious room. it is several miles outside of bicester on the b430 where it crosses the b4030. the staff was very helpful and friendly. the rooms are equipped with freebies and as many as they need for hot drinks. very good value for the area of the united kingdom that is located. down there's a pub. during rush hours, the noise of traffic in the room is a little on the heavy side, but during the evenings and at night no problems is quite calm. this is good for both leisure and business trips. We ate at this restaurant for dinner as well as a couple of breakfasts and were not disappointed. There was a big group of us for dinner and they set up their breakfast area for us with one communal table. The choice of starters, entree’s and deserts were large and they were well prepared and cooked as well as presented. With 14 of us we ordered across the spectrum and what was great was that people were offering each other a taste of theirs as well as the restaurant’s way of accommodating a lot of different dietary needs (gluten, lactose, carb, vegetarian) without making the recipients feel different or awkward. This carried onto having gluten free breads for breakfast. This little coaching...
