"Me and the wife both went out for dinner and decided on giving the Red Cow a go. So glad we did what a brilliant pub in a lovely setting, nice locals and great staff, we felt really welcome. Food was amazing too. I had the steak special which was perfect and the wife had the halloumi burger. Would seriously recommend this place for a relaxing drink or think they said at the moment it’s 3 nights a week for food looking on the website and trying out the menu. Thanks guys Danny and Kelly"

Our tapas was wonderful, and the chef created an extra vegan option on the spot for us! Landlord and landlady are lovel people.

We called in on way past. Had scampi and chips and ham/egg/ chips. Generous portions, well presented. Pub was clean and spacious with good facilities. Staff pleasant and friendly

Great little pub, friendly landlord and extremely well looked after beer! I will be back when in the area. Spent some time talking to the landlord and they clearly have a passion for their pub. View menu

This pub serves one of the best Sunday roast dinners I have ever had, with the roast potatoes being a standout. Our friend who is lactose intolerant was accommodated with kindness and understanding.

Staff warm, welcoming and friendly, roast lunch absolutely excellent, service throughout our reservation amazing, despite being extremely busy, location very Cotswold and comfy...thank you all Team Red Cow, we'll be back!

Went yo watch the footie. Unlike other pubs, the banter was good, no yobs spouting swearing out loud. If you want that, go to Bicester. If not the Red cow is the perfect pub to chill. Dog friendly too and food menu is launched June 3rd View menu

We arrived at the restaurant quite late, and unfortunately, some of the roast options were no longer available due to a busy night. Nonetheless, we all decided to go with the Sunday Roast and we were all pleased with our choice. The real ales were also great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.

I recently discovered this gem of a restaurant! The food was incredibly tasty, hands down the best pub fare I've had in a while. The service was top-notch and incredibly welcoming. The locals were very friendly, especially towards our two children. We would definitely make the trip back just to dine at this pub again! I highly recommend this place.

"I’m frustrated and annoyed with booking a romantic meal for our year wedding anniversary, with the current pandemic and work commitments it made a change to make an effort and be excited to visit the boxing hare as the reviews had been excellent. We...were seated in the garden room, next to a family who were on first name terms with the waiting staff and who were so loud I thought I was at a Chelsea match! We received complimentary glasses of champagne and we placed our order for starters and main which were excellent however I felt rushed with the service, as much as I tried to have a conversation all I could hear was this family at decibels to which enough was enough usually I would say something, however rather than ruin there evening I asked for us to be reseated to which the waiting staff were in agreement that they were loud! So why place us next to them? We were given a table in a different part of the pub still busy with other diners giving respect to one another. The table given I was advised I had as it was reserved? I placed dessert order and two lattes with baileys followed by the bill! The bill was a tad on the steep side for a gastro pub perhaps the prices are based on the price of fuel to fill the owners Bentley Overall felt it was a rushed evening disappointed with the seating arrangements,I won’t be returning as I felt what was important to us wasn’t important to the Boxing Hare I’ve had better evenings at The Falkland Arms Great Tew, The Great Western Aynho"
